I'm not sure if they're all based on real cases. But I'll bet something in every episode is taken from a real case.

Whoa.. that is too creepy!!! I'm sure a lot of their stories are somewhat based on actual cases even though CBS has to say it's not because people are lawsuit happy these days.

omg this case was real??? I always thought this episode was just an allusion to a fictional short story " The Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell in like 1954...because it talks about a hunter hunting down humans because he was bored of hunting animals because animals couldn't think unlike humans....the short story was really good. Wow!!! This was an actual case?

Seeing the subject "cold case-real cases", i just hoped this episode wasn't based on real facts ... Obviously it is ... OMG ...
It just frightened me when i watched it lol ! But it means this type of guy really exists ...
