Seriously... why do they have them greet each other and then nothing??? GRRRR!
"Josie chippy" waved at Lily, Lily speaks to her, and then they get into the convo about First Thursday. Vera dismisses "Josie chippy", and we get the cute quip from "Josie chippy", "I think he's warming up to me!"
And then NOTHING between Lily/"Josie chippy". Why are they torturing me like this?
Is this significant? I'm thinking it is. And next week's previews has Scotty w/ "Josie chippy" again. Hmmmmm!

LOL! I want a good Lily/"Josie chippy" bonding scene too Shawn.
I did like how "Josie chippy" waved and smiled to her, and then her smile faded once she saw Vera. :smile81: I got the impression "Josie chippy" and Lily get along.

Seriously! I think they've had two (brief) scenes together in the two episodes that "Josie chippy" has been on. I hope they work together some more. It does seem odd.

LOL! I know... I did the same thing, Soccer. And in the previews they have her w/ Scotty AGAIN! I want, but don't want, something to be cooking there. Only because if they hook up, she's there for a storyline arc, and if she doesn't then MAYBE she's on more regularly. But as much as I loved the scene where he walked her to her car in The Promise, the look at the end from Scotty was scary. As if they may go there with Scotty/"Josie chippy". Which could mean only a temporary storyline for the one who's name we shall not say. I love Cold Case and want her on longer  But I need my Lily/"Josie chippy". These brief encounters are killing me! I'm gonna write the show and request some Lily/"Josie chippy" scene! LOL! |

I'm sorry but they so cannot hook up Scotty and "Josie chippy"!!! More for "Josie chippy"'s sake. Scotty is still messed up over Chritina and Elisa he so doesn't need to be with anyone else right now. I would go crazy if the writers did that but I can see it happening with the way they seem to be bigging up Scotty at the moment.  |

I don't really want them to hook up. The flirting is good. At least that's how I see them. Or maybe they're just bondiong. Who knows. They seemed awfully chummy last night. Well, on Scott's part. I liked that she said she doesn't mix work with her personal life. Was it a lie? Maybe there's more to the scandal than we know.
But hooking them up now would be foolish, considering Chris and I don't know much about Elisa, but I know she committed suicide, right? Was this last season, too??
Yeah... keep "Josie chippy" away! LOL! She seems to have her own issues. She doesn't need to add his on the plate. LOL!
Give me more Lily/"Josie chippy"!

I like "Jo" too! It's tough and kinda feisty, contrasting to her appearance, which is very young and a little naïve-looking (I wouldn't have it any other way anyhow--no dog-faced leading ladies for me, thank you!). Although I must say one of the things that won me over about Lilly was her having such an un-detective-like name. I mean "Lilly" is pretty girly. Wouldn't it have been funny if it were Kiki or Gigi or something? LMAO.
Ok, on to more serious stuff (yeah right). I want some Lil/"Josie chippy" interaction too. Just to get a feel of how their dynamics will be. Lil's such a complicated girl, but I get the feeling she really needs a female friend and WANTS to bond, though it's hard for her to relate to other women, probably cuz of her mom...

I'd love for their bonding scene to be uncomfortable... like neither of them are used to opening up. Seems like "Josie chippy" is as closed-lipped as Lily. It'd be cool if they did some bonding at 1st Thursdays over a beer. Now that scene would rock! And both could blame it on the alcohol to underplay the sentiments. Sigh! Is it Sunday yet? If I don't get a Joly scene I'm gonna go mad!  |

Yeah it would be good if they followed the first thursday thing through with Lilly saying she wants "Josie chippy" there so she's not the only girl. I'm not sure Lilly would drink to much but certainly it would be a great way for them to get to know eachother.

I'd love to see them work a case together. They can chat on their way to interviews and such just like Lil and Scotty always did/do. It would be nice to actually have a scene where they acknowledge each other's presence! I'm not sure why the two don't seem to interact. It's weird.
