Next, it's Cold Case where co-star Daniel Pino and I bond over the lack of sleep we're each getting. I'm covering TCA; Pino and his wife are up late with newborn son Julian. Series star Kathryn Morris says she cried for about "four minutes" when MADtv spoofed her and her luxurious hair in a sketch a while back. Then she realized it was pretty cool to be spoofed on TV when you're only in your first season The rest of the article can be found here. www.tvsquad.com/2007/07/25/set-visits-to-the-closer-tmz-cold-case-two-and-a-half-men-br/

I don't watch it...*hopes its on youtube* yeah it's on youtube coldboneslove459 it's funny, but when I first saw it was when I first discovered CC and became COMPLETELY obsessed with it, so I was tiffed like Kathryn was at first, but then I realized it was more of a "compliment" (I guess you could say) than to be mean

I always get a little tiffed by those things, even when they're funny. I guess once you sign up to be a public figure you just gotta accept you'll be ridiculed sometime. But I still think the amount of attention they gave her hair was just ridiculous. I mean, cĀ“mon, this is a working cop girl! Not a model! "#%"$%

Maybe I have a weird sense of humour, but when I saw that persiflage on MadTV, I loved it. And it was so hilarious and ridiculous, think they made fun about all the hair discussion that was going on, not about the hairdoing on itself, and even less about Kathryn and her character Lilly. So, yeah, I took it as a sort of compliment on first view. But it's different if you're the one to be spoofed. But even if it's not so present anymore, it still seems to be an issue.

Hmm, maybe if I watched it, I'd change my mind. Truth is, I never was much in favor of those parody shows. Sometimes they're fun though.

Don't know if this belongs here From USAweekend.com www.usaweekend.com/celebs/whos_news/index.html#morrisIs Kathryn Morris in any movies this summer? Will "Cold Case" ever come out on DVD? Donald Varela, Roswell, N.M. There are no plans for a DVD release. But Morris is in this month's "Resurrecting the Champ," a film about journalistic ethics. She plays an editor and mother, Josh Hartnett's "better half, who outshines him in every domestic and professional respect, yet has the grace to allow him to move forward," she says. This fall, Morris, 38, begins a fifth season of "Cold Case." Men help keep the show in the top 20, she says. "I just got back from promoting the show in Monte Carlo. It was fun watching all those Frenchmen tear up over the show." There are no plans for a DVD release.

Sad about the DVD. I guess we can always hope though, maybe someday? Maybe I'm clutching at straws....
About the Mad TV thing, I thought it was funny. And although I understand why Kathryn was upset at first (I wouldn't be able to handle that kind of thing, which is one of the many reasons I am not an actress), like someone else said, in Hollywood you kind of submit to that stuff, and it is a compliment, they wouldn't waste their time on people that nobody knew.

There is a little article in this week's Entertainment Weekly(Fall Preview). Its seems to be sarcastic regarding having Lilly become more of a happy-go-lucky character. Hopefully, there can be a compromise where Lilly the detective is much more intense and hard nosed and Lilly the personality can be a little more like she was in season one(joking, sarcastic, vulnerable).
