Thanks to the tidbit that Naj posted, I went over to cbs.com and checked out its Watch! magazine. It's a quarterly magazine that covers all of the network's shows and stars. You can download each issue for free, and they have the Spring and Winter editions up right now. Guess what? There's CC stuff in both! In the most current issue (Spring 2006), there's this piece: THE CRIME SOLVERS WATCH! takes a humorous look at some of TV's most intrepid--and trouble-prone--crime fighters, starting with the folksy Barnaby Jones and ending with COLD CASE's emphatic Lilly Rush. Oh, and we can't forget Cagney & Lacey, or Magnum, or "Murder, She Wrote"'s Jessica Fletcher.Click HERE to download it. In the Winter 2006 issue, there's this piece: CRIME SCENE CHIC Costume designers from CBS's top crime dramas confess their secrets on keeping stars stylish at the crime scene.Click HERE to download it. I haven't read either yet because I'm still downloading them, so I don't know how extensive the CC stuff is, but they both sound very interesting. Irishkale had found that piece about Lil's cats in one issue as well, so it seems that they cover CC related stuff a lot. I'm going to sticky this thread so we remember to check it every quarter.

I downloaed them both, and the Winter issue has the article that irishkale posted a few months back about the cats. The crime scene detective wear story was a bust, though. The spring issue has a nice article on the CC music that is quoted in the article that Naj posted. There's also CC-related bits and pieces scattered throughout both issues. There are CC pics in both. This bodes well for future editions!

There's an article on Danny Pino in the latest issue: Making a Case for Danny Pino Juggling television, theater and film would be tough enough for any actor. But for COLD CASE’s Danny Pino, there’s always time to contribute to the community. Watch! shares a big peek into this actor’s warm heart. You can download (the very large file) HERE

The new issue is out, and there's an article with Kathryn on her recent trip to London. It's not listed on the CBS site, but Mr. TVFan got a copy of the issue through work, so I've scanned it for you. Kathryn in Watch pt. 1Kathryn in Watch pt. 2

I'm going to have to have words I hate to be a pedant (OK, I don't ) but the tower on the Parliament building is not called Big Ben, though most people do know it as that. Big Ben is the main bell in the clock at the top of the tower. The tower itself is appears to be just called The Clock Tower but is often called St. Stephen's Tower. Plus, if you want to buy fish and chips properly you should go to a fish and chip shop, not a pub.

You're definitely not stupid, RichE. It looks like CBS took that option off its web site (perhaps, they realized that people didn't want to pay for a magazine that they could download for free). I hadn't checked that site in awhile, so my bad.

Oh well I was wondering if they'd limited access to American users or something. I absolutely hate it when sites do that. Why must you discriminate? grr I dont thnk I said this, but the article and pics were really nice

Oh well I was wondering if they'd limited access to American users or something. I absolutely hate it when sites do that. Why must you discriminate? grr There are all sorts of possible licensing issues with distributing media so they sometimes have to block access from other countries.
