Here's an interesting "article." Mad Magazine did a parody of Cold Case called "Old Case" in the October 2004 issue (which I found on Ebay.) The jokes are pretty lame but it's kinda fun to see our favorite characters in cartoon form. Despite its overall meaness, it has funny moments. ;D They were a little obsessed with Lil's looks, though, and the show is definitely not. I'd love to see their take on Without a Trace (of Interest  ), since they referenced it here, and that show is much flashier. |

Vera was funny. Everything revolves around his eating. I was a big fan of MAD Magazine in my teens and early 20's. There is some elements of truth in this rendition of the show I must admit. I didn't get the name they used for Vera. Anyone get it? "Knock" What does that mean. I know Vera always trashes everything and everyone. Is that it. Knock down? Six day old case.  |

I usually love MAD Magazine, but I have to admit, they could have done a lot better job on this. I know I've seen TV parodies that are four-five pages. This satire could have done with the extra pages.

oh yeah! I printed this out a long time ago! I think I threw it away the other day though....it made me feel bad keeping it thanks though, irish, cause I don't remember where I had found it if I ever wanted to see it again! ;D ....for some reason I was thinking KF had it on her site....? Mad Magazine always has a tendency to give the characters stupid/weird/ or absurd names based off of the actually names themselves.
Lilly Rush becomes Lolly Rash.
Nick Vera become "Knock Vera"
