Since they have brought Ellen Rush back do you think that Lilly will begin to confide her feelings about her mom and childhood with anyone in particular of the other detectives? And why?

I personally think Scotty, on a friendship level. Since they had gotten closer since; the hotel scene I think it would be a resonable choice. He doesn't seem to understand her better then most would. But Kat wouldn't be so bad, the girls do get along very well and Lilly is in need of a good friend.

My immediate thought was Scotty. They're pretty close as LII says.
I pondered the rest. Kat is an obvious second choice. Stillman is possible. Vera is unlikely. I did wonder about Jeffries. He and Lilly don't often interact but he seems like the sought of guy you could talk to and he'd listen and understand.

I think I would like for it to be Stillman (given his father-like looking out for all the detectives on his squad) or Kat (just because I like her and think she's a good gal pal for Lilly to have around seeing as we never get to see ANY of Lilly's friends) ... but it will probably be Scotty IF she confides in anyone at all.  |

Here's what I'm thinking. Last night ep TORN gave two identical lines about Lilly being the lone female detective. Not any more. Is this their way of setting up more Kat to come. And if so, will Kat become closer to Lilly? If so, then she's the one Lilly will confide. Although I would think Lilly would confide in Stillman, I'm voting for Kat. I know it makes no sense.  |

I want Ray to ride back in. He still knows about most of it, but she could tell him how screwed up she feels having her mother back in her life. I just want to see the Ray again... And we know she opens up to him.

I voted Kat, simply because chicks seem to be more open towards another female, especially when there's the 'trust factor' thrown in among the mix.
No matter how much of a stereotype that may follow - it's logical. To me at least.
Although, having said that, in my experience, I find it easier to talk to a male figure about troubles/concerns/and the like. I think it's more of a psychological belief of protectivness, maybe? Installing a certain belief in ones self that a male can protect you more so than a female figure, therefore putting the mind at more ease.
Mind you - this is my personal view. And I hope at least one person could understand that rambo.

Even though Lilly has been becoming more open with both Scotty and Kat, I think she trusts Stillman the most, because he is a father figure. The way they interacted after Lilly came back from the hospital in "Cargo" was very father-daughter like. I'd actually like to see more of that.
