What about the Mathernal Instincts? I loved her talking to Sean... all the things she said about him and about herself...

i like how she blows up at suspects during interrogation when they're protecting themselves and they've hurt other people, it just shines through how she cares about the victims, how sick she is of people screwing around with other peoples lives...

I love how she does this too, lils231. Lilly always knows how to get to the suspects too. She's not a hothead like Vera or even Scotty. She's more controlled in her interrogations, and yet totally fierce. I love that!

Best outburst thus far and my favorite: "Wishing" where she confronts Scotty. ("You lied to my face...!!"). She was so hurt and angry that she said something she immediately regretted. If you notice at episode-ending montage she purposely avoids looking at Scotty--- if he too weren't so stubborn (and obviously clueless about women) she perhaps would have relented and tried to apologize. This is so true jazzyb. They are both so stubborn that there was no way an apology was going to happen right away. I'm glad Scotty finally caved in and apologized, although, it did take Chris leaving him in order for him to do it! I guess I shouldn't comment since I'm about as stubborn as they come as well.

you simply can't beat The Woods emotional outburst. It pulls at my heart every single time and that's why it's my favourite episode

Sorry to ^bump^ this thread, but I have decided my fave. It's wishing. I think that outburst came from the anger at Scotty, but more at Christina. Christina stole Patrick, and now she's stealing Scotty from her. She thought it was Patrick all over again. So the dead girlfriend thing was sort of her bringing the hurt of losing Elisa back to Scotty to pay for Scotty sleeping with Christina. And, I expected Scotty to kiss Lilly when I first saw that outburst. But no. Nothing for us poor shippers.

I voted woods... i love that episode. We learn so much about her. I think she's cried in other episodes too though. You can sometimes see her eyes welling up with tears that just dont end up flowing. <3 Sam

I voted for the scene in "The Woods". That episode still pulls at me every time I watch it. She let the tears go instead of holding them back. Although you see her welling up a lot, like in Sherry Darlin' she never let them go.

I vote for "Patrick Bubley" because it was an honest and self-critical outburst, something rarely shown on the show. "Woods" was the most heart-breaking... And this with Scotty was the most debatable (according to its reason)... Anyway. Maybe now we should put the last outburst with her father, too.

I think " Into the Blue" ,really has a chuck full of Lilly's emotional outbursts more than any other episode

I chose her outburst in "The Woods" because she finally let some pent up things go, but she also managed to keep it under control enough to beat George at his own game. Throughout the outburst, you never felt like Lilly didn't have the upper hand, and it never seemed out of character, which is a huge credit to Kathryn. My second choice is the "Saving Patrick Bubley" outburst because it was a rare look at a less-controlled and more loose-canon side to Lilly. It was one of her perfectly imperfect moments and I loved it! I 100% agree with you!

Sounding lame here, but what did Scotty lie to her about? About him not being with Christina, which he was.
