I don't know if this has been posed before and I haven't looked so chew me out if it has. Anyway we could re-speculate. So does Lilly ever take vacation? I would assume she gets at least two weeks off per year. What does she do? Where does she go? What do we all imagine? Does Lilly load up her cats and go to the beach? Does she have any friends she vacations with?

Hmmm, good question! I sure hope she doesn't stay home and stare at her photographs of victims all the time . I think she would go out of town. Far away from work so she can get a real break. At least that's what I hope she does .

I honestly can't imagine Lil taking one, so I would say that she either has A LOT of vacation time stored up or the vacations that she does take aren't real vacations. Like, she still stops by PPD and Stillman yells at her to go home and take a real vacation! Things may be different now that she has this new lease on life with following her heart with Joseph.

Suprise suprise, I'm with TVFan on this one. I don't reckon she has taken a vacation. She's not really one for relaxing much, apart from the few hours an evening she spends with her cats.

This is a great question, Naj ... I think I'd tend to agree with TVFan and sonny in saying that Lilly probably has not (or does not) take vacation too often. (I actually work with a lady who has nearly 300 hours of vacation time on the books - which is about 37.5 days). We all know how Lilly lives for her job. But, she is changing a bit, and I would venture to say that with someone like Joseph in her life, (assuming it becomes a steady thing), she might actually be more motivated to take some time off. Joseph does strike me as someone who would not mind time away and/or an adventure of some sort. He's a bit more of a free spirit than, say, a desk job kind of guy. I could see him maybe pressing the issue - even poking fun at her for having, say, 37.5 days of vacation time on the books. Thus, perhaps both would venture somewhere they both had never been. I would initially say Lilly would protest, coming up with some excuse or some reason she could not take the time off, but I believe she would go along given how she's kind of trying to begin having a life - sort of that whole "new" thing. As for "where" that place might be ... really have no clue ... for all I know, Joseph could pack her up, take her to Maui and surprise her with surf lessons. LOL! Lots of sunblock required, though.

I can't see Lilly taking a vacation... but I can't really see her working so hard all the time for years and years without burning out. She MUST take a vacation sometime... but what she does with it I have no idea. Can't see her doing much of anything but working... maybe she just stays home and catches up with her housework. Dunno when she has the time to clean up anyway, considering her working hours.

I agree with TvFan and Sonny, well most of you I think. I can't see Lilly taking a vacation, I think If she did she would end up on a case where ever she went on her vacation. Unless she has a boyfriend or someone close to her, then she can go and take a well deserved vacation with them. *nods* Or take at least a couple of days off with them.

Great idea boxman. Playing Blackjack or craps or Texas Hold'em. That would be fun. Now does she go alone or who does she go with? Vegas. And of course, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. That's why we don't hear nuthin 'bout it.

Maybe Lindsay? We don't know any of her other friends. Maybe now she can take Joseph.

Vegas. And of course, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. That's why we don't hear nuthin 'bout it. Thank you boxman. ;D As per usual, I agree with the general opinion. I can't see Lilly taking any days off for a vacation. After all, in Joseph, everyone was shocked when she took a sick day. They would probably all faint if she took a vacation. With Joseph in the picture now, though (at least, we think), she might be persuaded to spend a little less time on the job. Then again, she may find it annoying if Joseph suggests taking time off.

I agree with the idea of Lilly not taking a vacation...she doesn't seem like the 'getaway' type...I mean she never calls in sick, so I couldn't see her taking a vacation either
