The scene in the Jail, Where the two are standing Lilly and Joseph both look nervous but they both know it's love that they share. He's totally different from Kite and Ray , he seems like a stable guy. I'm glad they met, Lilly is going to be much happier with him I totally 2nd that    |

I haven't seen 'Joseph' yet, so I'm only speculating here, but isn't he supposed to be in Witness Protection or something? If he is, and he and Lil were to get real serious, wouldn't it pose a problem with her being a cop and all? Like I said, only specualting, i'm no expert on this, so if i'm all wrong, heads up!

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. I think Lilly will feel a real sense of love in her heart and happiness being with Joseph. After all love can change how a person feels ... They connected right away so it must be true love.

Didn't someone try take a shot at him, before he had to testify for a trial or something? Like i said...i dunno, you'se over in USA are more in the know than i am. So correct me if i'm wrong. But overall he sounds like a pretty decent guy. I've always liked Kite for her though. He always seemed to make her smile.  |

Give Joseph a chance, he seems like a down to earth guy. Maybe he has a good sense of humor that might make Lilly laugh or smile more. I think he is perfect for her in everyway.

i have every intention of giving him a chance, it's just that i haven't seen him yet. Beautiful Little Fool is playing tomorrow night. So i don't have long to go now. I'm just disappointed that Joseph wasn't introduced earlier on. So i wouldn't have to wait so damned long.

It doesn't really matter to me if he was introduced or not...I like how she found him alive, and how they had an instant connection...they are so perfect for each other!

Here's my true reasons why Lilly should end with Joseph then Ray
1. Joseph is more likely the one to stay put and not take off suddenly
2. He doesn't know her past
3. He could protect her better then Ray
4. He might get Lilly to more Focused on the here and now not what happened in her past

I actually don't think of Joseph as being all that much of a vanilla-boring-goody-two-shoes. From what we learned in the S3 finale, he's pretty much been through his own hell with his upbringing, addiction to heroin, etc. But he kicked the addiction and channeled that experience and his upbringing into being a stand-out counselor of troubled youth. I feel that would've required a certain depth of character and a strength. As such, I seem him as a pretty strong guy (emotionally / mentally), but also one who's also been around the block once or twice while still being able to get himself to a good place. This is also why I think his work as a counselor has him well-suited to be a true anchor for Lilly - to work through her "stuff" without fear of it (I imagine he has no problems with her saving the world at 3 a.m. ... unlike someone else we know ... ). All of this doesn't strike me as someone who is vanilla. JMHO, though.  |

Acutally Joseph didn't do anything, It was Lilly that wanted to make that change herself.
I see nothing wrong with him, he's seems so perfect and wonderful for her

I'm pretty new to watching the show, so I was wondering if there's ever really been any flirting with her Lilly and her partner, or are they more friends/brother and sistery? There seemed to be some chemistry between them in one of the reruns I watched with my gram (she's in love with the show) but I'm not sure
