DF,
regarding the Lilly character.
What I was speaking about DF, that I didn't elaborate upon was that Cold Case airs on Sunday evenings. Some of the predecesor shows of this time slot were Murder She Wrote and Touched by an Angel. (I believe I have those two correct). Those shows basically had small casts. I feel to decentralize the show after not even one year with Lilly is very confusing to an audience whose central core is for Lilly. Last year the show gained viewership but I don't see anything any higher so far this year. There was so much talk about Lilly in Season 1 that I think more people tuned in Season 2. The show should have done some of their own MR and can tell as well.
I hope they hold back on trying to make this show fit the other Bruckheimer clones because I think the show found a niche in this time slot with less complicated casts and allowing for a lead character to keep in line with this night's past audience. The one good thing this show has going for it is it can appeal to a wide range of age groups for just the time period of each cold case. I figure a case in the 1980's can appeal to a 20 year old based upon the music and storyline as much as it does to a 40 something. And those that are now in their 60's can remember back 20 years just by the music as well.
That's all I was going to say but to do so in chat would have taken forever to type.

:smile39: :smile14: Thanks, Naj... Now if only I could remember what prompted the explanation in the first place... :smile80: I'm sorry, I'm afraid I'm not kidding. I really am that scatterbrained.
