So I'm thinking what I'd like to know about Lilly in the upcoming season.  Here's a few of mine. * What was her education post high school? * What kinds of things did she do for fun growing up? * Will she and Chris ever talk again? * Will we learn more about her 49 and who knows about what's on it among the other detectives. I'm looking forward to mostly Lilly stuff too and I think it's great the board has made separate sections for Kathryn and Lilly ;D
Anyway:
- Lilly possibly meeting a man
- Finding out Tripods real name
- How Lilly has handled the aftermath of The Woods
- Lilly and Scotty becoming closer after the Christina saga

I think sonny meant Tripod the cat. Lilly was introducing her cats to Kite, but he interupted her and dubbed the one with three legs "Tripod". Lilly never mentioned his...or her real name :smile21:
I'm looking forward to:
-Aftermath of "The Woods". I would be surprised if that isnt a major plot line for at least the season opener.
-Chris. I mean, she caused so much tension, they have to follow up.
- Lilly and Scotty's relationship. Ties in with the Chris thing.
- More of her past. The 49, childhood, and anything else they would like to throw in is fine with me ;D

I agree with some of your choices, like:
- What was her education post high school?
- The real name of Tripod the cat
- Aftermath of The Woods
- The full story on the 49 report
And also:
- The full story on what happened between Lil, Chris and ex-fiancee Patrick 9 years ago (well, 10 years now).
- Did she have any jobs besides police officer? (I know she mentioned once that she was a handwriting specialist)
- What's the current status of her relationship with her mother?
- Some info about her father (so far I'd be satisfied with knowing whether he's alive or not)
- Anything else they want to show. I mean, if they want to tell what Lil eats for her breakfast, I'd be happy to know ;D

I'm hoping we continue to learn more about Lilly this season. Here's a short list of what I'd like to learn:
- Will she finally find a meaningful relationship? No more Kites!
- What happened to her father?
- Where is her mother?
- How will her actions in "The Woods" affect her?
Can't wait, just over a month to go! :smile8:

Well, stumbled across this thread again (okay, so maybe I'm hunting for places to post so I can reach 500...but, whatever!) and I just want to say that after seeing the first episode, I want more than ever to really know how her actions in "The Woods" will affect her.
I mean, it's obvious it's affected her! But I want specifics!

I think it's the family issue that has really affected her in that ordeal with George. I could tell in the premiere that it was bothering her that Claire had been dumped by her parents. It just seemed that the whole mother/daughter issue really affected her.

Sonny, yup! Me too. I think Lil has always been sort of sensitive when it has come to Mother/Daughter relationships (Fly Away comes to mind), but even more so now.

Very insightful,Sonny! I totally agree. I think the idea had been lurking somewhere in my mind too, but not clear enough to really become an IDEA. She's very sensitive about the family topic--now more than ever, I guess. Her sense of her mom having wronged her must be raw and aching after her encounter with George.

I'm just looking forward to seeing Lilly again! I'm in the UK so we don't get to see Cold Case until later, but it starts on the 12th Jan here, I cannot wait, I'm counting down the days ;D
I'd also like to know a bit more about her family, that really does intrigue me.

Hi flyaway! What part of season 3 are you on? I've lost track of how this show airs in all the different countries. I'm looking forward to the Bruce Springsteen episode coming this Sunday, Jan 8. We get to see the first episode of Season 3 on the 12th Jan, so I've got to wait, which sucks, because I really can't wait to see it. When I found out it was starting this month I danced around the house for about half an hour ;D

Although I've been fortunate to see season 3 so far SKY TV in the UK has not yet announced the return of Cold Case. It began late January last year so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they have picked up the third season!!!
