Okay so it seemed weird to post this on the CC ABC's board even though that's where I found out about it. Anyway......somehow I missed out on the fact that Lilly was once married ( I hope I missed that show and not just plain dumb). I was later filled in that Lilly mentioned that her former husband was abusive. I'm going somewhere with this...I promise. It goes back to the subtle belly rub in the very last scene in "Lover's Lane". Much speculation has been made over abortions, babies up for adoption, etc. With this new abusive husband stuff....I'm starting to think that at some point, she was pregnant while married and the abusive husband caused her to miscarry. It's a bit of a long shot, but I thoght I'd put it out there and see if anyone agrees???  |

Krispy- I somehow missed this as well. Although in my case I think I'm just dumb!  Anyway, I think you could have a point with the abuse causing a miscarriage idea. It seems like a very plausible explanation, and it could add to Lilly's reasons to not trust relationships. It will be interesting to see how this develops next season. |

I don't know why Lily was rubbing her stomach. Maybe it was the pangs of lonliness! of rejection!  She didn't show us too much in that scene. It was numbing! Thus the mystery of what Lily thinks... ~Naj |

I think the point is : We have no idea what lilly is thinking! Her mind works in mysterious ways. personally im riding on the idea that she had a relationship in the past and the guy hurt her, (maybe physically, maybe emotionally, KITE *achoo!*). i missed the season premiere, so i dont know anything about the abusive husband thing, or even a husband. when it re-runs, we'll all have to watch it so we can see what went on. i actually have a little lilly analysis thing that im writing, so now ill have to take this into consideration!

I think she's just speculating over everything that's going on...wow, THAT narrows it down a whole lot But really, I've been trying to figure her out, and she's too closed in...maybe in season two, we'll find out what she's thinking But hey, trublu--if you finish that analysis, post it! or just send it to me, either way... |

I have the analysis done and should post in a little while. i keep forgetting to bring it down stairs, and am too lazy to walk up the stairs and get it. * * it should be up in a day or 2, when i find a place to put it. |

heres what i think: I understand that in some cases, when a woman rubs her belly, its as if to say there's something inside it, but honestly, how often to un-pregnant woman rub their belly's? I mean, if it were to show she was once pregnant, to me thats kinda cheesy. Honestly, I think it was just nothing, just a place for the actress to rest her hand. oooohhh... what a good idea for the next poll of the week.

you have a good point. when i first saw it, i thought what is the big deal? but when i started reading how other people interpreted it i guess i kind of got caught up in the speculations. Now i really dont know what to think. we could have completely the wrong idea. by the way, im going to get that analysis right now, so it should be up a few minutes from this post.
