Little Lilly

Hi guys, I was watching TV today and saw something about the "Man on Fire" DVD [w/ Dakota Fanning and Denzel Washington].

This is sort of random, but don't you think Dakota Fanning would make a great Little Lilly? She sort of looks like her, and I'd imagined little Lilly to be very mature like Dakota is.

yeah... I do see the similarities and you're right about the mature factor, I totally see Lilly as being really mature as a child.

I agree. I picture little Lilly as a very mature, outspoken girl. I hope someday we get another flashback to lillt Lilly and we learn a bit more about her upbringing.

Coeurdobscurite--I've always thought the exact same thing!! So glad someone else picked it up. I think I posted it on another board... never thought of doing it here. I would've liked Dakota Fanning a lot more than the child they did choose (which I've only seen in screencaps, so maybe I should shut up till I can get a real good look at her on TV). Unfortunately, she must cost the world.

now that i think about it, i'd agree as well! there is more of a resemblence between the two than the other girl that was chosen. And even for such a young girl, Dakota has a great on screen performance.... but she might have been hard to get with all the movies she was involved in. :smile10:

Thanx, foxfire! They might not be spitting images of each other, but you gotta admit there's a resemblance. A strong one. Especially colorwise. But I really should take a closer look at the other little girl, Christina Cellner, before judging.
