Don't kill me! But even though Chris's main purpose was to serve as a sleeping-bud for Scotty, I think we DID learn a lot about Lilly through her. Not so much about her life, maybe, but about the way she handles things. I mean, first time she told Chris she couldn't stay at her house, it was a frosty side to her we'd never seen before. Then as she slowly began warming up. And the terrible heartbreak of her "betrayal" with Scotty--more feelings than we probably ever thought we'd get from Lilly Rush, the Detective. The same with her fight with Scotty. I thought it was great stuff! Though it hurt to watch my heroine suffer, seeing her pull through was very very interesting. You're right DF. We didn't find out a lot about Lilly's life with Chris, but she showed us the cold side of Lilly and how she faces her personal problems. And that was really interesting!
