So any thoughts about DA Kite? Didn't he leave the show? How is his statement of 'they're going to be working together' going to hold?
It looks like it's, at least, been voiced that neither one has regrets. But we never know what is going on in 'ole Lilly's head. Don't you think she really got hurt and that's why her statement - that she had no regrets.

Well, you know me. I'd love to see them get back together. I think it ended badly but still... and even if they don't get back together, I'd love to see more interaction between them. I love how their still sorta flirty.

Well, it seemed to me that Kite got wanted he wanted out of the relationship. I wasn't very fond of his comment about First Thursdays. It almost seemed like he wanted to go with her. I wasn't sure if he was trying to hook up with her again or not. Either way, I was glad Lilly dissed him.
I thought the whole scene was done well b/c you could tell that Lil was trying hard to act like everything was fine, but on the inside, she was probably falling apart. She put up a strong front for the sake of her own pride and their future working partnership. I got the impression that Kite will be back from time to time.

I agree TVFan. I think Kite wanted her to be weak and show some emotion when he was talking to her outside the croutroom but she really held it together. I think we'll see Kite again but according to the cast lists that CBS has released, he is not in the next three eps.

I never really loved Lilly and Kite, but after he was such an jerk in Lover's Lane, I straight up couldn't stand him. This position still holds. If I never ever see him on the show again, it will be way too soon. Just say no to Kite.

I wonder where they are going with this... Im thinking that they will need an ADA eventually, search warrents and such, unless they dont show us anything about actually obtaining it anymore.

I read a story last week that Josh Hopkins' (ADA Kite) new tv series Global Frequency was dropped by the WB network. Maybe this development might bring him back to the show. Anyway, INSIDR might be able to shed some insight into the Lilly/Kite situation. Could Kite be returning? One way or another the show should address the status of their relationship.

I think they did resolve their relationship in 'Badlands.' Manily, 'it's over'. I'm just curious, if Josh isn't with the show, who the detectives would go to when they need legal approvals and if it's a new DA how, they would explain it.
I have to admit, I don't miss the Kite character. He's really weird but one thing that interesting is that side of Lilly we just saw in 'Red Glare' with her sister. Well, Kite and Lilly might be compatable in that odd creepy way.

Ah yes. they could even have Lilly go in, find some new guy, or girl, ask where Kite went, and have the newbie tell her that he moved or sumn, as long as they give some sort of explaination.

Well, Kite is mentioned in "Mind Hunters" so apparently he still works for the DA's office. I still think we'll see him again this season as well as Elissa.

I'd be interested to see the dynamics between Lilly and Kite now that they have some history together. I'm still wondering what will happen if the detectives need a warrent, exhumation, etc. Will Lilly still be sent over to the ADA's office? If so, how will she deal with having to ask Kite for something? Last time they spoke (Badlands), they were in a public place, so her meeting him in his office could have an entirely different dynamic.

I am probably the only one but I like him! I think they would make a good couple I always thought they made a cute couple too although I doubt they ever will be again. |
