Well I was surprised to see Lilly just so cold and heartless towards her sister. I've met people like this in my life where you know them maybe on a professional level and think they are great people then you see an ugly side to them. There's a hardness, cruelness almost soul less person in Lilly. Obviously it has to do with her family and upbringing. Twill be interesting to find out more about her sibling.

I was surprised too at how cold Lilly was towards Chris. I thought for sure she was going to come around, but I guess we'll have to wait for future eps. I haven't read the ep discussion thread yet, so this might have been brought up, but I got the impression that Chris stole a boyfriend/fiance/husband(?) from Lilly. Maybe it was her motorcycle guy?

I agree with your post Naj. It seemed as though Lilly turned into a completely different person when she was around Christina. Kinda scary, in fact. I thought for sure Lilly would have reluctantly let Chris in her house for the night and I was shocked when she shut the door in her face. I think Lilly is too angry for Chris to have just stolen her boyfriend. It would have had to be a husband or something totally different. Remember, Chris said if it was reversed, she would never be able to get over it.

I was quite surprised that Lilly was so cold toward Christina, she must have really pulled a doosey... I agree with you Naj, it definitely has something to do with her home situation. And was it just me, or did Lilly panick when she saw that Christina was smiling at Scotty?

Yes it definitely looks like Scotty has some interst in Christina. Maybe she is just a big user type personality. Since she was going to the bar to apply for the job maybe she is into a bad type crowd mentality. Boozing and drugs? Who knows...she migh have a habit to support! She's obviously not a daughter her mother could rely on since Lily was getting her moms meds last season.

I kind of like how Lilly's coldness towards her sister. Well, maybe not like, but it intrigues me. Any other show would probably have the main character reluctantly let the prodigal sibling back into the house in an attempt to get us to go "awww." I like how Cold Case doesn't take that route, having Lilly remain firm with Chris.

I kind of like how Lilly's coldness towards her sister. Well, maybe not like, but it intrigues me. Any other show would probably have the main character reluctantly let the prodigal sibling back into the house in an attempt to get us to go "awww." I like how Cold Case doesn't take that route, having Lilly remain firm with Chris. I agree about this approach even though it is a stark contrast for Lilly but we know there's something not good festering in the ole detective. Can't wait for it to either blow or have a meltdown.... ~Naj |

Well Lilly definately was not as cold as last week. At least Christina is allowed to stay with her for the time being. I think Lilly just looked at the case and decided she doesn't want her sister out by herself considering all the dangerous people out there. I don't think she has fogiven Christina for whatever it is she did but I think they will be more civil towards each other in the coming eps. At least I hope so.
