Good day boys and girls!  Hello, this is the Byrdman just giving you all a shout-out on this lovely Saturday. I hope that everyone's weekends is off to a great start so far. Well, I was just doing a search on Google on our girl KM and I found an interview that I have never seen before. Apparently, the television station KTLA conducted it last summer before the start of S5, and she largely talks about her role in "Resurrecting the Champ." I know I have never seen a thread on this interview, and I hope that I am not reposting here. But I hope that you get to enjoy it, it is 5 minutes, and it has our favorite girl too! Great interview!! Thanks so much for finding this one, byrdman. I just LOVED "Champ," so it was nice to see her talk about it a little further here. I also liked the way she addressed the reporter's comment that she's a smiley person unlike Lilly Rush. "I don't have her issues," she said with a huge smile. Too cute. |

Great find, byrdman! Thanks ever so much for posting! I join everyone else in not having seen this interview, and given I'm local to the KTLA television market, I feel I should have - LOL! Champ really was a great film. KM fans who didn't get a chance to see it in the theatres should check it out on DVD (once released). It's one of those nice-to-see-her-do-something-other-than-Lilly-Rush roles, and I think it makes one further appreciate her range as an actress. Special thanks, too, to the always-on-it RichE for giving us the downloadable version. |

In my post above, 4th down, there is a small picture of Kathryn. That is a link to a downloadable version of the interview, hosted on my website. It is in MPEG4 H264 format so you will need a recent version of QuickTime (it is normally installed as part of iTunes) or something like VLC to play it. All the video clips I post are in this format. |

Oh my god! she so beautiful, and so funny, and she seems a really good person. I just admire her so much. I have watched some interviews and I just can't believe she had the courage to travel all alone from her home to California when she was only a young girl. And that she did everything to get to where she is now. She is kind of a role model. She really is amazing! And I love Cold Case, is a great show, and she is such a good actress!
