Gonna have to double post here because I just had a chance to listen to the 3-part interview. How funny was that driving lesson??!! I was cracking up laughing.
I liked hearing a little more about Assassination of a High School President. RichE, I totally thought of you when Kathryn described her costume in the film as "highly inappropriate." This role is going to be hilarious!

that was better than the kyle and jackie o interview. i noticed she said "bloke" at one point. she picked up some of our lingo |

@ spirit and TVFan - thanks ever so much for links to the radio interviews! I don't remember (if at all) ever hearing KM doing morning raido shows in the US, so it's a nice switch/change of pace. Her personality is definitely suited for that sort of off-the-cuff/go-with-the-flow interview format radio shows are known for. (Is it bad I'm liking the Australian hosts much better than most of our US morning show DJ folk?!?  ) @ RichE: thanks as always for being on photo patrol (and I think I'd have to agree with TVFan ... What's more important is whether Kathryn was thinking of me when she said it Sounds like I'm going to have to buy multiple copies of this film. One on DVD (I think Blu-Ray HD might be a little too much detail for me ). Another for my mobile/cell phone, to watch on the way to hospital. And a 3rd for my iPod to watch whilst convalescing ;D
A good, fun interview. Kathryn is, as others have said, so good at that stuff. Obviously a show Kathryn has done before a few years a go.
All these audio files got me thinking, so I've put them together in an RSS Podcast feed that you can subscribe to with something like iTunes. I'm still learning this stuff so hopefully it will work OK. There may not be many files I can add to it so don't go expecting it to change every week. So far I've only got the 2 interviews from Australia (the 2nd is in 3 parts). So, KM did get her Uggs after all ... The American actor, who is in Sydney spruiking the Channel 9 police show, had wanted to visit an ugg boot factory while in Oz. But she had to settle for the next best thing, with a shopping expedition to Peter Sheppard Footwear's Centrepoint store to try on some Ugg Australia offerings. Morris -- who jets back to face a chilly US winter tomorrow -- walked away with three pairs of the woolly wonders worth about $1200. Making the most of her first day off for the week, she also headed to Taronga Zoo where she was lucky enough to enjoy a uniquely Aussie Valentine's Day experience -- holding the paw of a kangaroo. |

Thanks LK  You think the local Ugg stockists were calling the station offering to assist Ms. Morris in her shoe needs? And of course getting a bit of free publicity in to the bargain for themselves. I'm sure that never crossed their minds   Well those boots certainly aren't ugg, they're yum ;D  Sorry, I've probably just made some huge fashion faux pas in the pursuit of a quick laugh. I know nothing about fashion. For all I know there is a boot company called Yum, and they are Ugg's arch rival  Meh, what are you gonna do?  And who's this Sydney bloke (woman?  ) we keep hearing about? And why is Kathryn.... |
