Buuttt, they forgot to recognize that Lilly has sported a ponytail this season. That's in with the lesbians.

Eeeew. . . Those are examples of lesbian hair?? For once, I'm glad that I'm hopelessly out of the fashion loop. As for KM/Lilly, I don't think her hair (or any other part of her) resembles the typical "lesbian" (although perhaps "butch" would be a better word for what they're portraying with much of this hair, but I digress. . . ) so I'm not sure why she was included in this, unless it's because her hair is always a topic of any even remotely related conversation. Whew--run on sentence! Alas, RichE, I don't think the hair (or anything else) is bi-curious. Good news for you!!

Hey there michelle As for KM/Lilly, I don't think her hair (or any other part of her) resembles the typical "lesbian" (although perhaps "butch" would be a better word for what they're portraying with much of this hair, but I digress. . . ) so I'm not sure why she was included in this, unless it's because her hair is always a topic of any even remotely related conversation. The article seems to be grading various women's (and 1 man's ) hair-dos for their "Lesbian Quotient". Kathryn's bit says this: Kathryn Morris: I have no idea what’s going on with the Cold Case star’s hair this season and, to be honest, I don’t think we should claim it. (picture) Lesbian Quotient: 1 (should it look like a mushroom?)Not a good score out of 10. So I think she's been officially disowned by the sisterhood Mushroom? Does that make it a 'shroom with a do? ;D I thankyou. I'm not against a bit of curiosity

they are just too jealous of KM to appreciate the life behind the hair (of Lilly, I mean. She's had a rough life) just GET OVER IT people!

I think I have to agree. No matter what that hair is doing it becomes a converstational piece. Like Lilly needs more drama in her life! The one place where Lilly's hair is not an issue appears to be within the world of Cold Case. None of the characters on the show mention it.

I let the AfterEllen people see Lilly Rush's ponytail. I posted a url to your screen cap, RichE, clearly showing her ponytail!!! I never knew ponytails were lesbian. Gee, you live and learn!!

how is her hair lesbian? I think it is more to do with the style and what it might say about the person. As they say on the site they are not sure what's going on with Lil's hair so are not claiming it is "lesbian". I think they just threw her in there as another example of a female lead character and as a bit of a difference to the others listed.
