Ray...eh. Although I did become a fan of the Ray after reading some of jambled's fanfics, I tried, I tried... and as cute as they are together, I think bringing him back would do Lilly no good. He probably would up and leave again. I failed, I failed... Actually, I totally forgot about Kite though *mental head slap*. I think I wrote a fic about him coming back, too... Was it ever finished? Probably not... The guy is gorgeous. Has appeared in Bones as well; have to say, he hasn't lost it! So why would he come back? And why did he leave? And, wait, why did they break up? And did they ever sleep together? I believe I need to cue up season 1 and do me some watching. I mean, I'm still primarily in the Ray camp. But one little toe has crept over the line to the Kite camp. Other appendages to follow (and I don't mean that in an ick way). Gosh, I love surmising. Someone should make it a job (oh, wait, isn't that what economists do? And meteorologists?) |

I'm going in the Ray camp too. Him and Lilly have something deep going on that we haven't seen yet. She also told him that she's the one that needs to stop running away.
A rather small revelation if there ever was one, and she shares it with Ray. A woman like Lilly wouldn't be sharing this with just anyone.

Take a look at this and tell me you don't miss some Kite in Lilly's life. We don't know what would have happened had Kite's character stayed on the show...but I miss some of this.
It's at the 1:15-2:16 mark.
If you watch the preceding interrogation with the bald guy - I miss that kind of antics too by the crew!!!!!

That's a great video! The episode is "Disco Inferno," RichE, which was a GREAT Lilly/Kite outing. Loved the ending with the two of them dancing. Good stuff. Dang it! Now you guys have me all excited about the prospect of a Lilly/Kite reunion and I'm only going to be disappointed if it's not him!  |

I was just sayin' it COULD be Kite. At least I'd rather it be him than Ray. I wasn't particularly fond of those eps OR their interaction back in the day, but... things are different now. It's sort of like when your daughter has a history of crappy boyfriends. After a while it suddenly turns out that snot-nosed first boyfriend wasn't so bad after all... compared to the others...
Plus the awkwardness after that phone call would be a force to be reckoned with. LOL.
I'm honestly hoping it IS Kite. Though if it were Patrick and they do it well... we'd at least find out some new stuff.

I want it to be Ray so bad. There is something there between them that's very deep. Him making her milkshakes and messing up the kitchen when they were 10 because of her broken jaw speaks volumns. I want to see more of them.
I would also like to see Kite though based solely on the drunken phone call. Which was really awesome. KM's facial expressions throughout that scene was hilarious.
Patrick would bring a whole lotta drama I think. Which I gotta say I love drama in my dramas:)
I don't think I'd like it to be another old flame. I think Lilly's got enough going on with Patrick/Kite/Joe/Ray to keep us occupied without adding someother dude.
And I can't wait to see more of Lilly in thearpy. She's very complex and I think it's a great oppertunitly to dive right into her past and see why she is the way she is.
