Well I have to say I watch the show mostly for Kathryn, so I wouldn't be as mad about it as I am now if she wasn't there.

I'm a rare Nsync fans. Many wouldn't think my statistic would be a fan of them, but I'm a JC Chasez girl. Justin's cool, too, but I preferred the manly voiced one, lol... As for KM, I don't want her to leave. I like her! Can't wait to watch more of her  |

While she's not the reason I got started on the show, she is a huge reason why I tune in every week. |

You guys are scaring the pants off of me!!! Stop it!!! :smile44: I thought it was suspicious the way she didn't come out to promote the shows, but since I'm not in the States I wasn't sure she ever had, I'm just taking your word for it. SJB coming in was what made me really paranoid though, and this shifting attention to Scotty.
I don't think KM would be leaving the show, but she's a strong-minded person (judging by her interviews), and I'd be willing to bet that if she ever got it into her head her character's not being handled the way she'd like or she wants to have a family or something, she'd drop the show like a hot potato. I'd HATE IT if she left the show, but you gotta admire her courage.
KM, if you're reading this, PLEASE DON'T LEAVE THE SHOW. That's what I'm reduced to: begging. It's just that Lilly's the one who's made this show special for me. Without Lilly... well... :smile10:

I highly doubt KM will be leaving the show anytime soon. :knocks on wood: You guys shouldn't worry so much.... KM is probably busy with personal stuff (uhhum...maybe planning her long in coming wedding) and just hasn't had time to promote the show like she has before. ;D Yea..and that wedding thing was just speculation on my part. :smile21:

Foxfire--I'm beginning to wonder if you are who you say you are!!! You've had some sparks of--umm--insiderish speculation that's very suspicious.  Anyway, thanks. Your words comfort me. Luvthe one who's name we shall not saybrown: Initially DP wasn't even there. He came in around the 8th episode or so of season 1, replacing Lilly's original partner Chris Lassing. He had quite a minor role all first season, but second season was filled with drama for him, what with his gf's death and the affair with Christina. So yeah, it was like he stole some of Lilly's limelight. |

Now the wedding business is another area I need to speculate about and I have to say I'm a little concerned because I haven't seen a picture of Kathryn Morris since February with her engagement ring on. Why would she not be wearing it on social occasions like at the AI final and on celebrity Poker Showdown etc?  I'm praying to that Kathryn has no plans to leave the show and I'll team up with DF and beg her if she reads this!!! :smile28: :smile28: :smile28: :smile28: |

I'll admit that the thought has crossed my mind, but I think it just seems that way right now. It seems like we haven't heard a lot from Camp Cold Case lately, but we did get some great quotes in the Entertainment Weekly article (and Kathryn, especially, sounded very enthusiastic about the upcoming season), the TV Guide mentions with quotes, and Danny was on The Early Show. I think it's just a combination of the show going into its third year with a proven success rate (it's not a new show, which grabs all the attention, or even a second year that hoping to build a stronger audience), the fact that it has never been a "buzz" show, and Kathryn and Co probably hard at work and not really needing to do a lot of appearances so they're not. I know Kathryn wasn't at last night's Emmy Awards (and it was held on CBS), but it could be that she just didn't want to go this year. I mean, the show wasn't nominated for anything last night, so there wasn't any real point to getting a dress and getting all dolled-up for a total "Hollywood Night" if you don't want to. I remember reading a quote from Kathryn in an article once where she stated that she and her fiance just weren't into the whole "Hollywood thing," and how they much preferred to stay in. So perhaps, this was the case with the Emmys this year. I really don't know, I'm just speculating. Anyway, I wouldn't be too worried about Kathryn, CC, or her leaving. I think (hope) things are all okay. |
