I'm watching the season 2 finale right now and I must say that KM is an impressive actress! I'd heard she wasn't that great and that her hair was annoying, but watching her personally I must say she's better than the rumors and her hair does NOT annoy me. You have no idea how hard it is to come into a show late and to be impressed with the concept of the show and the actors. I'm also loving Pino, as well!

I tried watching CSI and couldn't get into it and watched WAT when the one who's name we shall not say guest starred and wasn't impressed with it, either! But Cold Case is eerie and a wonderful delight. I actually get pulled in to scenes and my heart pitter patters!
Corny, huh? And I can tell Lily is hard-headed! And a smart-ass to boot! I love that! Seems like this edited by Naj fan will REALLY love the show as well as edited by Naj EEEE!

Just finished this Nine Skull episode... love how it all ended. Kinda sick for George's mother to have that man rape her own son! So sad. I felt bad for George. Man, this show is good! Neve rbelieve a word on the net until you see something for yourself.

You must have typed up your post the same time as I! LOL! I am beyond psyched for this premier. Tonight's show showed off some great range from KM. She reminds me of the one who's name we shall not say. The eyes can say as much as words. I love when actors can display this attribute. I also loved her wise cracks. She's laid back, but also anxious to get out and do something. This is my first show. I thought CC came on much later here and have been missing it. But I made sure to leave my TV on since I was home. Also, Lily's sister must have been some character. From what I've gathered, she and Valens had a relationship. (But from Geoge's description, was he trying to hint that maybe Lily has feelings for Valens. Am I correct?) But I could feel her love for her sister when George was trying to make her sister out to be trash. I was really impressed-- and intrigued-- by how she turned the tables on George. It's so good to know that edited by Naj going to be in great company. I just have a feeling edited by Naj are going to hit it off well onscreen |

I'm glad you enjoyed "The Woods" the other night!! It's one of my favorite episodes of the series. I think that it's definitely Kathryn's strongest showing, but she has had some other incredible scenes and moments. I'm really excited to see how she and the one who's name we shall not say work together. It sounds like they're going to make a great pair. Regarding Scotty, Lilly, and Christina (Lil's sister), here's the recap in a nutshell: 9 years ago, Christina apparently slept with Lilly's fiance in a drunken mistake. Lilly has never forgiven her, but Chris showed up in Philly and slowly Lilly came around. Meanwhile, Valens took a liking to Chris after his fiancee supposedly killed herself (she had schizophrenia and Scotty had taken her to a hospital because her meds were no longer working) by jumping off a bridge. Lilly pretty much warned Scotty to stay away from Chris, but he didn't heed the warning. He and Chris slept together, and then started a relationship. Lilly found out, and got very upset with both Chris and Scotty because they went behind her back and lied to her. Chris skipped town when the NYPD came looking for her on some credit card fraud charges. Lilly and Scotty didn't really speak for the last quarter of the season, but as you saw, they fixed it in the last episode. I don't think that Lilly has feelings for Scotty, she was just mad because her sister involved herself into her professional life, and Lilly doesn't mix her professional and private lives! :smile18: Anyway, I can't wait to see how everything pans out for the new season, especially with "Josie chippy" coming on board. It should be great!! |

Thanks for the recap TvFan. This helps me a LOT! I was wondering about the comment Lily made to Scotty about her sister. And that sicko George's comments, too! Thanks for clarifying things.
As for watching shows with the one who's name we shall not say on it and not enjoying them, this happen with the soap opera As The World Turn, Tati. I REALLY thought they underused the one who's name we shall not say's capabilities and wrote material that I could write in a poorly written fanfic, lol. The premise was promising, but the execution wasn't. the one who's name we shall not say did an awesome job! And I enjoyed her character, but I felt that she wasn't allowed to really spread her wings. Granted the role was for under a year and they quickly threw the storyline together just to have the one who's name we shall not say on their show, but still time should have been used to ensure decent writing. I didn't warm up to a lot of the other characters, only a small few.
Vicky (SJBfan) and I disagree, but I never could warm up to the show. And it's no fun rooting for your favorite actress when you feel she could be doing better things. And thank goodness she found Cold Case. From this first show of mine I can tell that the writers are great with connecting with an actors' emotional depth. Only time will tell if this continues for season 3. I can't wait!

All I can say is that it is hard not to like Kathryn in my opinion! She ROCKS!! And I can't wait to see what is gonna happen to her in the new season. And although I'm still unsure about "Josie chippy" I'm looking forward to seeing how Lilly and "Josie chippy" will get along.
I don't mean any offence to the one who's name we shall not say in my uncertainty either, I mean I hated the character of Christina and was so glad when she finally bailed but I've enjoyed everything I've seen Nicki Aycox in.
I'm just being overly concerned about Lilly I guess which is probably what you the one who's name we shall not say lovers are feeling about her being accepted into the show??? She seems to have a big fan base which can only help the popularity of the show, which is a great thing.

Well it's a blessing to enjoy the lead character of a show! LOL! If the lead tanks, what's the point? LOL! And I understand ppl being uncertain about "Josie chippy". She has to earn her place on the show. the one who's name we shall not say fans understand this. I'm just hoping she impresses you like she has us |

Oh I have no doubt that the one who's name we shall not say is a great actress, and although I've never seen her in anything, the people who do the hiring and firing on the show wouldn't have given her the role if she wasn't any good. I mean she has won awards and stuff which must show what a great actress she is. [Mind you Kathryn is a great actress and she isn't up for an Emmy this year!!   ]. It's purely down to the character and her effect on and relationship with Lilly that makes me so uncertain, and that's probably down to the fact that we have rarely seen Lilly work with or even talk to female collegues. I'd say it was more her character that needs to earn her place in the Cold Case team, not the one who's name we shall not say in working on the show. |

I have to agree with Soccer as far as both things go. I couldn't help laughed at their predicament too--it's so soap-opera-like! I hadn't realized how much, I guess because we didn't get it all together at the same time but spread throughout a whole season. I'm really glad you're liking KM. She's a fantastic actress. I'd never heard of her but she totally won me over with her interpretation of Lilly. Oh... and adding to what Sonny said. Most of my doubts are regarding the character, too--not the actress. Although to be truthful I'm not really having that many doubts about the character anymore... |

Kathryn is good on the show. I like her alot but i did not remember her on Xena! Can someone help me out and tell me who she played on there?
