56th Prime Time Emmy Awards September 19I don't think Cold Case was nominated. The 56th Annual Prime Time Emmy Awards will be presented Sept. 19 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, in ceremonies to be hosted by Garry Shandling and televised by ABC.

Hi all! I heard it on television that Kathryn will be presenting the other day but I don't remember what show. So far I haven't found an article stating the presenters. And I don't see that Cold Case is even nominated this year. It says so here though: www.emmys.org/primetime/2004/news/If anyone finds something more, please post it. ~Naj

Thanks for the heads up Naj. I figured she wouldn't be asked b/c it's airing on ABC and CC was not nominated for any awards. I'm glad that she's going to present though.

Awards Broadcast Live From Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium September 19
LOS ANGELES, September 2, 2004 – Kathryn Morris, Conan O’Brien and Kiefer Sutherland have been confirmed as presenters for the 56th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The show will broadcast live from Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Auditorium, Sunday, September 19 (8 – 11 p.m. ET Live/PT – tape delay) on ABC.
Kathryn Morris stars as the headstrong and resourceful detective Lilly Rush in CBS’ #1 new drama Cold Case, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. On the big screen, Morris has been seen in memorable roles in The Contender, Minority Report, A.I., Paycheck, As Good As it Gets and Jerry Maguire.
Emmy Award winner Conan O’Brien has earned two Emmy nominations this year for his work on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien; one for the show and another for his writing. In 2003 Late Night was honored with its first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Variety Series and O’Brien and the Late Night writing team have consistently been nominated since 1996; the Late Night writing staff have also won four Writer’s Guild Awards. Kiefer Sutherland has earned his third Emmy nomination for his portrayal of Jack Bauer in the Emmy nominated Fox drama 24. The role also garnered him a SAG Award this year as well as two Golden Globe Award nominations, one of which he won in 2002. Sutherland recently completed production on the independent film The River Queen opposite Samantha Morton. He has had a successful movie career including recent roles in films such as Taking Lives and Phonebooth.

Also, if you want to start watching uber early, E! is going to start Red Carpet coverage at 6pm EDT Sunday night. Maybe between E! and ABC, someone will interview her before the show.

I'm gonna try to get all the emmy coverage I can... red carpet-wise and for the actual show. Tivo's are great for this stuff since they have essentially limitless recording capability...
