Logies white-out
29apr05LOGIES fever is building, with most of the big names appearing at Sunday night's awards arriving in Melbourne tomorrow or on Sunday morning. For the first time, the Crown Palladium room, foyer and "red" carpet will be a sea of white. LONG-running soap Neighbours will have a starring role. The cast is rehearsing a segment to celebrate the show's 20th year. The spot will include singing and dancing, with the cast of Grease involved, we're told. The Neighbours cast, including best new talent nominee Natalie Blair, is excited about the mini-production number. We're told Ian Smith, better known as Harold, has a starring role. There are rumours that Neighbours will be inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame. ANTHONY Callea, who will be dressed by Versace Crown for the night, will sing a tribute to the Boxing Day tsunami victims, sources tell The Eye. That tribute is likely to be his massive hit, The Prayer. ONE of the international guests, Adam Rodriquez from CSI: Miami, is planning to watch Melbourne play Fremantle at the MCG tomorrow. The Logies' other international star, Kathryn Morris from Cold Case, will arrive today. WHILE the telecast of the event might not start until 8.30pm, those going to the Logies have to get there very early. The invitation card has a 4.30pm start for arrivals. Once there, guests will have drinks in the Palladium foyer before heading into the main room. Kathryn
