They talked about the show this season and how it is cinematic in it's creation. They also spoke about the soundtrack and the Johnny Cash one and John Mellencamp. They also talked about use of veteran actors like Barry Bostwick (btw I wished he could have had a greater role in COTN.) But I can see by the way it was written that was not possible. The also spoke of the ratings 15-18 million. It was a nice piece and one you will enjoy.

If irishkale does not post the video, then I will go back and transcribe the interview.

Thanks for posting the video irishkale! I thought this was a pretty interesting look at Cold Case in general. They really covered a lot of ground. I thought Kathryn's explanation of how the writer decided to use all one artist's music was interesting. It was also interesting how she said that some artists who turned them down in season 1 are now asking about CC using their music. Gotta love that!

I also liked how she acknowledged that Lilly was childish and caddy this season with her sister. She mentioned how it was very humanizing to see such obvious flaws, and I think it's very unusual. It seems that the protagonists in most shows have very few flaws, and the ones that they do have are minor. With Lilly, we were left scratching our heads about why she would act the way she did over her sister's (obviously wrong) act nine years ago. I'm not used to seeing a character act that way, at least not one that I'm supposed to be rooting for and have been rooting for since day one. But people are people with all their bright spots and flaws, so having Lilly show the audience a darker, crueler side was an effective way of making her more real IMO. It also added dimension and gave Kathryn some very interesting scenes. It was nice to hear her take on Lilly's behavior this season.
