I got to thinking after hearing Kathryn talk on Craig Kilborn about being involved in 10 pilots that didn't make it for television. I came accross this ad on a casting forum for CC: starsearchcasting.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5428I'm wondering which other actors Kathryn was up against for this main role. Anyone have some tidbits? I suppose this was for other casting as I'm sure Kathryn would have already been chosen. ~Naj |

I'm still wondering about this. Has anyone heard anything about others that audtioned for the Rush role?
Kinda curious who our Kathryn won out against.

I have been trying to find this out for a long, long time, and can't find a thing. Morris is perfect for the part, but I am interested in finding out who she beat too. I got nothing.

You know I was reading somewhere, maybe here, that some comment she made was that she wasn't up against anyone. They chose her because of her strong performance in the "Contender". It's here on this forum and it was just posted within the last week or so. It was an article? Yeah, I got the impression from that article that the producers didn't audition anyone for the role. It sounded like they saw KM in "The Contender" and decided to go with her if she would accept. If anyone knows differently, please correct me.  |

So we couldn't find out who she beat because she had it all along. Interesting. She is that perfect for the role, I can believe it.
