I presume that should be 5x04, not 4x04?
(subject line has been fixed so this makes little sense any more)

It's a 1953 case involving the death of Bingo Zohar, a 19-year-old singer shot through the heart in a parking lot.

Cool, any more Lilly stuff (dealing with her shooting) happening in this ep?

I'm assuming the title refers to the controversy rock n' roll faced in its infancy because many people considered it sinful music.
I'm surprised last season's "Static" didn't touch on this at all.

Yay! Movin on up in the spoiler line! ;D I think it's cool that the victims last name starts with a "Z" so we have something else to use in the game "Cold Case ABC's" other than Zeke! Hope there will be more Lilly drama too! Can't wait to see this one, much like all the rest!

Sort of--the episode is about race, not so much religion. Bingo is a white boy interested in "black" music. Think Elvis Presley. As for personal stuff, as far as I can see this is a more case centered episode but Scotty's arc does move along a bit.

Thanks for the info, Wow, they've done quite alot of eps based around racism, right..? And the guy in Static liked black music, didn't he? Ah well! Can't wait for Season 5

Sounds good. Do we know how exactly Scotty's arc moves along?
