Lol. She'll probably hold off for a really long time until she really goes over the edge (although Lilly's definition of "over the edge" is probably different than everyone else's so it'll probably be brought on by something extremely catastrophic). haha, I TOTALLY agree! Her outlook on almost everything is usually completely different than what anyone should expect. But I just can't wait to see ALL of it! ;D

Hello
It can be cold case from 2006. They did a similar thing before.
Remember the Season pilot "Look Again" ?. Lilly was called of from a triple homicide at a restaurant/family dinner. In "Look Again" a Spanish/Latino housemaid of a wealthy family claims that She watch a murder 16/17 years ago. Now dying of cancer she wants justice for the victim. She only wants to talk to a female detective. Since Lilly is the only female detective at this time she is called off. Because of the success the Cold Case divisions is established The picked this storyline of the triple homicide up in the Season Opener "Badlands" of Season 2.

They never used to do many episodes that were a year or 2 old, or even after 2000 for that matter and now most of them are. Interesting I think that's part of the stated goal of the CC's tptb: to get younger viewers. If the cases are younger, the music is more modern, and younger viewers are more attracted to the show. That's the theory anyways. Actually, my theory is a little different. I'll bet good money it's cheaper to do a recent case since you don't have to worry about period clothes, props, or sets. You also usually don't have to cast a younger and older actor for the same role. Plus you might be able to get away with newer less well-known (and therefore cheaper) artists for the soundtrack. These shows have a budget afterall. You can't do eps like "Torn" every week.

That theory does seem plausible, which makes me wonder how much of their budget was spent on "Thrill Kill" Hmm music $$$$$$ wardrobe $$

Hey, like 3 years ago I posted that I wanted an episode based on "RumSpringa" (the amish word means "Running Around") Actually, I stole it from a great documentary called "The Devil's Playground"; it follows several Amish youths as they leave the community and try to survive in the real world. Some of them fall to drug use and run-ins with the law. It's a great documentary; if you have a chance, rent it (netflix has it.) www.npr.org/programs/morning/features/2002/may/amish/tinyurl.com/2oa73w

I like newer cases a lot better because of the music and the case.

my question is. What type of music will they be using for this episode? They'll have to blend the Amish lifestyle with the modern era of today's society.
I hope they don't do a repeat musically of "Stalker" and "Knuckle Up"

Yes, and it's really annoying. I've been checking for two weeks hoping to watch the previews and every time I get the promo for the finale... someone needs to update those links!
