Sorry guys, I'm currently on vacation so checking for spoilers is a bit difficult right now as I don't always have access to a computer.
Anyway, this is a 2006 case. Victim is Anna Hostetler, 16, found stabbed to death in a warehouse. The episode looks really interesting because it's set in the Amish community and deals with the struggle of some of those teenagers who are curious to experience the "real" world.
Also, Vera is concerned about Lilly, says she looks tired and asks how she's doing but she shrugs him off.

It's a 2006 case. The victim is a 16 year old girl named Anna Hostetler and she's....Amish! She went to Philly to see the outside world before decided whether or not she wanted to stay with the Amish and she got murdered. And that means that Lilly and Vera are heading to Amish country to talk to some witnesses.
We also see Lilly's first session in counseling, but she's not really interested in talking for the moment.
Heh, jinx!

Thanks orison and morwenna16 for in the info as always. Like everyone else, I'm looking forward to the counseling session. I have a feeling it'd before like Sam's therapy in WaT than Booth's in Bones. 2006 though, is that even considered cold? The season 4 finale case was from 2006, and the season 3 finale case was from 2005, so year-old cases are considered cold.

I'm not too sure about this whole 1 year old business. They never used to do many episodes that were a year or 2 old, or even after 2000 for that matter and now most of them are. Interesting

Interesting I think that's part of the stated goal of the CC's tptb: to get younger viewers. If the cases are younger, the music is more modern, and younger viewers are more attracted to the show. That's the theory anyways.

Another reason I watch Cold Case is because of the "old" music they used to fit the decade that the case was from because I never lived in that time period(70s, 80s)...so It was interesting to learn old bands and get to like their songs. The present rock doesn't really amaze me. I Love Rock N Roll! XD and sometimes they use jazz music from the older decades like the 1900s =).

Anyway, as I understand it, it's not how long ago it was that makes a case "cold". A case is "cold" when the file's put away because they can't investigate any more on what they've got. No more leads, no more investigation--no more case. They can't close it cause it's not solved, but they can't keep it open and "hot" all the time either. I dunno if there's a minimum time they've gotta wait before closing the investigation though. I know around here the DA decides that when they first open the case--like, investigation's gonna last 8 weeks, 16 weeks or... 104 weeks is the most, I think. If the case hasn't been solved in the settled amount of time, it goes "cold".

Yay! More Lilly drama! And I can't wait to see how Vera acts too!
@ a2z: I agree about Lilly's session being like Sam's in WaT and other crime dramas, I sure can't wait to see Lilly open up, IF she EVER does!!

She'll probably hold off for a really long time until she really goes over the edge (although Lilly's definition of "over the edge" is probably different than everyone else's so it'll probably be brought on by something extremely catastrophic).
