This is a 1919 case. I haven't been able to read all the info yet, but Rush's mother is in this one. Be back later.

I hope it isn't a repeat of what happened in BLF last season. Why do I sense trouble coming??

Oh good! I need some Lilly childhood drama! It's been sorely lacking this season.

Okay, here's a little more info: Victim is Emma Stone, 18, and Lilly says this is the oldest case she's worked on (Btw, is that really true? I can't remember).
As for Ellen, she's about to be escorted home, there's a squad car so something may have happened but it's not clear yet. She's her usual self and says she needs a drink. Lilly tells her she'll come by her apt later. I guess the title refers to her situation too.

Old case seems to mean appearance of Ellen Rush. That's cool, though. I can't wait for a bit of Lilly drama.
BTW, this is the oldest case. I wonder if they're going to solve it by through the grandchildren again.

Looks like it will indeed be similar to BLF with a single living witness and a b-story involving Lilly's mom.
The actor playing the modern day Audrey Abruzzi is Ellen Abertini Dow, whom I guarantee you've seen in something (probably as the rapping granny in "The Wedding Singer").
One wonders how they'll solve this case since the killer is presumably long dead. Here's hoping the solution is a little less deus ex machina than it was in BLF. I mean come on. They confront the killer's grandson, who not only knows himself what his grandfather did but had a deathbed confession on tape right there in the office!!!
