Wow, we're up to episode #20 already, so close to the end of the season... This is a 1997 case. Rainey Sykes, 16, aspiring cheerleader, found dead on the football field of her high school.

Thanks, orison!
As much as I love these spoilers, they always remind me how close the end of the season is.

Another teenage-centric story ... there is a thread on this up in the General section ... I guess this really is the year of the teen (and the more current/modern day cases). LOL! Thanks always, orison.

Thanks always, orison. if this case is in 97..id hardly call anything past 10 years current. 10 years is a lot of time passed heh as an adult, it's easy to perceive a year in terms of months. my folks used to tell me during my teens that life is like a big hill..its slower going up at 15 mph at first but by the time u reach the peak..your life moves 60 mph and faster going downhill :-) food for thought

Plus, I like to think I'm not too old, yet.

hehehe i know what you mean..for the longest time i had a hard time accepting that the 90's is over..hell we're almost into the first decade of the new millenium. i dont think it was too long ago that i accepted the 80's as being in the oldies category and im reaching into my mid 30's :-)
i think for a lot of teen and younger cold case fans...the 90's will be genuinely nostalgic to them if not a curiousity year if they were toddlers. my gf is 27 and for her a lot of things have happened between being 17 and 27. :-)
