Interestingly enough, they have a call out for a young Jeffries. There's also another ADA.

Unfortunately, I don't have that info. Perhaps, orison can get us that info when she gets back from her vacation.

Hey guys, I'm back from vacation. I took the WB tour in LA and saw where they film CC though of course no one was around. Anyway, this is a 1979 case. Victim is Libby Bradley, 35. I think Jeffries is the one who was assigned to her case her case and promised her daughter to find whoever was responsible for the woman's death.

Thanks for the info! A young Jeffries... Last time we saw him in the past (was it ten years ago, or twenty?) they stuck a hat on him and made it a rainy night. It'll be good to see an actual different person in the role!

JEFFRIES' ROOKIE MURDER CASE IN 1979 IS RE-OPENED WHEN EVIDENCE IS FOUND CLOSE TO WHERE THE BODY OF A WOMAN WAS ORIGINALLY LOCATED, ON "COLD CASE," SUNDAY, NOV. 5
"The Key" -- Detective Jeffries' rookie murder case in 1979 is re-opened when evidence is found close to where the body of the woman was originally located, on COLD CASE, Sunday, Nov. 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. David Barrett directed the episode that was written by Jennifer Johnson.
Jeffries made a promise to the victim's daughter, Helen, to find her mother's killer and now, armed with new evidence, he is more determined than ever to close the case and bring the murderer to justice. The evidence includes a jacket belonging to the victim and car keys that could not have been hers because she did not know how to drive. The list of suspects includes the victim's husband, ex-lover and daughter. Now, Jeffries will go back 27 years and retrace his steps, but as a more experienced detective.

From Tvguide.com
The 1979 murder of a schoolteacher who was stabbed to death in a wooded area is reopened when the victim's bloodstained jacket is found stuffed in a tree trunk with a happy-face key chain in a pocket. The case was originally investigated by Jeffries when he was a rookie detective. The probe reveals the victim died two months after attending a key party she left with a neighbor, a man with whom she had an affair.
