Bad news: No Joseph. Huh?: Now, I know I have not seen this, and I will put forth the standard disclaimer that I'll eat all my words if I end up loving this episode (as I do like Liz's scripts) ... but Ray in the hospital after being beaten? I have to admit my first reaction is to shake my head as to the corny nature of how that reads ... like something out of ER. "Ray clings to life as Lilly rushes to save him! News at 11!" LOL! Will keep the faith, though. I DID write Liz a letter saying I liked her work, so ... hopefully she will prove me wrong on this one.

Lillykat- I was thinking the same thing too
Maybe it won't be like that, maybe Lilly visits Ray in one scene and the other back onto the cases .. Who knows lets just hope that she sticks more to the case then him.

Full summary and cast list from the futon critic:
ARMED WITH NEW INFORMATION, LILLY AND THE TEAM RE-OPEN THE 1982 CASE INVOLVING A BABY WHO DIED OF SIDS UNDER SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES, ON "COLD CASE," SUNDAY, OCT. 15
"Baby Blues" -- Charged with the emotional task of finding a baby's killer, Lilly re-opens the 1982 case involving a baby who died of SIDS under a cloud of suspicion, on COLD CASE, Sunday, Oct. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. David Barrett directed the episode that was written by Liz W. Garcia.
Lilly starts her investigation with the only people who were with the baby on the morning of her death -- the parents, Christa and Lee. First, Lilly gets Lee to admit to not wanting a second child. Then Christa admits to feeling stressed out with the demands of a new baby, along with being a working mother. Their older child, Devon, who was only 6-years-old at the time of his sister's death, barely remembers what happened that night, but somehow believes that he had something to do with his sister's death. Meanwhile, Ray enters Lilly's life again.

Please stay with Joseph Lilly, don't let it turn into love triangle!! By the way, this case sound very sad I wonder how Lilly is going to interrogate the suspects?? I think a love triangle is pretty much inevitable, even though I don't want one either. I don't know how Lilly is going to interrogate. She'll either be extremely tough or get extremely emotional so as to connect.

As far the interrogations concerned maybe we'll get to see that way she interrogated in S1. Maybe the writers might explain why Lilly is with Ray or maybe it something happened that wouldn't be shown on screen but we as viewers might get a hint to as why Joseph isn't in the picture

Wow... I'm stoked- some more Ray! I do love the MCman. Maybe Lilly is his emergency contact or something... And the hospital calls her. She goes in to see him before realising she has to go meet Joseph for a date (keeping joseph in the script without having to pay the actor; good work), and Ray tells her something along the lines of 'I still love you.' Oh the possibilities; I'm so going to write a fic on this lol!
