Episode 4.02: War at Home

Okay, I -totally- wasn't expecting new spoilers this soon, but apparently they're casting Scotty's brother Mike. Mike Valens is 36, has a wife, Alegria who's 38 and a 7-year-old son, Emilio. There's another baby, a little girl called Marisol but I don't know how old she is.

Now onto the -very- interesting info: Scotty visits Mike to tell him that they arrested a man who taught classes at the gym (where they used to go? This is not clear yet) for molesting a minor. The D.A. has a list of victims and Mike is on the list. Mike denies everything. I'm guessing Scotty didn't know about this, though it might explain his behaviour at the end of S3.

Okay guys, here's some more info on the episode. It's a 2004 case. Victim is Dana Tucker, 30, who was shipped to Iraq for three months and lost an arm there.

Oh, and we get to see Veronica, Miller's kid, for a moment as she's sitting in the car at the beginning of the episode.

"The War At Home" -- The 2004 case involving the disappearance of a female Iraqi war vet is re-opened when her prosthetic arm is found in a river, on COLD CASE, Sunday, Oct. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Alex Zakrzewski directed the episode that was written by Samantha Corbin-Miller.

When Dana returned from the war she was no longer the same person she had been. Dana fought in Iraq for 93 days with her close friend, Tommy, who lost a leg, and Frank, who lost his life when their vehicle came under attack. Dana returned home as a hero to the community but not to Frank's widow, who is the number one suspect in Dana's disappearance. Meanwhile, Scotty pays a visit to his brother in regards to an ongoing child molestation investigation.
