Your welcome, Sonny. I thought it was a peculiar name when I first read it too.

Is it me, or are they really recycling the same years in this season. We've had 2 eps from 1988, and when Superstar airs that will be two from 1973. Two have been from 1998 and now 1945 has two eps. They need to vary the years more.

For some reason, I tend to like eps with a lot of female cast. (i.e. factory girls, committed, superstar) So I have high hopes for this one!

On the night of her death, she planned to meet someone, possibly her killer, at the train station. ALSO, JEFFERIES IS DISCIPLINED AND PUT ON DESK DUTY.

Thanks for the info, italiangirl06, and welcome to the board! I guess Jeffries' disciplining was to be expected. Afterall, during the last episodes montage, we see Stillman's boss lecturing Stillman and Jeffries.

The futon critic has changed its dates so this episode will probably be on Sunday April 30, not May 7 as the first post indicates.

Air Date: 4/30/06 (SUNDAY) Time Slot: 8:00 PM-9:00 PM EST on CBS Episode Title: (#321) "The Hen House"
LILLY AND THE TEAM REOPEN THE 1945 CASE INVOLVING AN AMBITIOUS FEMALE JOURNALIST RECENTLY DEMOTED TO WRITING ADVICE COLUMNS AFTER HAVING EXTENSIVELY COVERED ELEANOR ROOSEVELT, ON "COLD CASE," SUNDAY, APRIL 30
"The Hen House" -- Lilly and the team tackle a 1945 case involving an ambitious reporter recently demoded to writing trivial advice columns after a heady period covering Eleanor Roosevelt, on COLD CASE Sunday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. David Von Ancken directed the episode that was written by Craig Turk.
The case takes shape when Lilly discovers that the journalist was pushed off a ramp at a busy train station and her broken purse strap suggest her death might have been a purse snatching gone bad. However, as the investigation continues, Lilly learns that the journalist had several enemies, including a competitive co-worker and plenty of angry readers who thought a woman's place was in the home and not gallivanting around the world with Eleanor Roosevelt. Now, Lilly and company must narrow down their search for a murderer.

Ah, and here I thought the title was going to be a reference to Ellen, Christina and Lilly getting together. Oh well. It does sound like an interesting case though.
