As I mentioned in the Additional Cast forum, Danny Pino is featured in the new edition of TV Guide (the one with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer on the cover). I don't have time to transcribe the article right now, but here's a few spoilers he revealed in the article about Scotty and his upcoming storylines:

The upcoming episode "Franks Best" is about a Salvadorian immigrant who may be wrongly jailed in a deli owner's death. The episode is Scotty-heavy, and we learn that he has brothers.
Later in the season, one of the brothers gets into trouble and Scotty has to deal with it. There will be some sort of personal storyline regarding this development.
There's also an upcoming case that the team reopens and Scotty was the original detective on the case.
And finally, Meredith Stiehm says that she hasn't ruled out the possibility of finding a new love for Scotty. She does say that the next one will be a more meaningful relationship.

I know. None of it is great news for us Lilly enthusiasts. Hopefully, they'll be some great Lilly stuff coming up to balance out the Scotty heavy nature of a lot of these eps.

Then, I've got bad news for you Ruda. He also mentions in the article that the two characters will never get together and Kathryn Morris reiterates it.

I just don't see what they see in this Scotty character to take the show off it's original path.
Well, whoever loves Scotty so much should be happy. I'm sure there are fans out there ... :smile87:

It'd ruin the show for me too if they got together. OMG!!  That's a lot of Scotty drama. I wish they'd do more with KM/Lilly. We've barely heard anything about them this season. |

Awww....I really can't wait for these eps to air. My town's postoffice has been running ridulously slow...first time we've ever gotten the TV guide on the first day of the week it's program write-ups are in. Does any other Scotty fans really, really want to see his brothers? I do. Haha, do you think there'll be any shots of Scotty when he was younger?

She does say that the next one will be a more meaningful relationship. they are always giving him love intrest's it's so not fair how come it's always him how about giving lilly a boyfriend or maybe vera isnt he seperated from his wife, maybe they should explore the relantionship of him and his high school girlfriend more, i just dont see how it's always scotty "Finding love" with anybody in a short skirt it's really starting to get annoying ok there my little rant for the day |

I was going to say something but it would be like a broken record. How come not much usual stuff from KM this season? What's with that? Guess there isn''t much to say. So I guess that's why there isn't much to talk about this season. The boards been really slow and it isn't because there aren't CC fans. It's we ain't getting the interesting things we want to discuss. So be it.

hopefully it will get better i really liked the last ep it had a really good story to it, i hope they do more of those is it just me or has everyone forgotten about George and what happened last season, the show is all about new women Defectives and scotty falling for another girl and trying to find Elisa's "killer" yet i don't think they have even mentioned it, it's going to be lame if Lilly has a nervous breakdown because they have worked anything up for her to have a nervous Breakdown, it's so stupid
