I got my new full-sized edition of TV Guide today (Oct 17-23) and found this:
LILLY LETS DOWN HER HAIR
On October 16th, Cold Case's tightly wound homicide detective Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris) removes the bobby pins that hold up her messy blond tresses. Not a big deal? Don't tell Morris that "People have asked me about my hair every day for the last two years," she says. In Australia, women have even copied Morris' look (they call it "the Lilly"). So why the change? After a heavy season on the CBS drama in which she faced off with a serial killer, Rush needed to lighten up a bit. Says Morris: "It's representative of her loosening the reins on herself."

Ok, this was interesting, but Lilly's reaction doesn't make any sense to me. Why would a terrible experience make you want to loosen up?

Sorry guys, I just realized that Foxfire posted this in Lilly's forum. I'm going to go ahead and lock this one and we can continue our discussion over there. My bad!
