Just got my TV Guide in the mail yesterday, and there's a two page article (and a full page picture of Lilly and Scotty) on the current Cold Case season. It's the NASCAR cover (or the TV show "The L-Word" in some areas) that starts this Sunday (2/20). The article contains a lot of spoilerish info including the real reason the Rush sisters don't get along, whether or not Lilly will have a love interest, and what happens between Lilly, Scotty, and Christina. It's an interesting article and it has quotes from both Kathryn and Danny.

The article contains a lot of spoilerish info You can say that again TVFan. I feel TVGuide should have listed a disclaimer at the beginning of the article about the spoilers. Luckily, I love spoilers but I know there are many fans who don't so please do not read this article if you want to be surprised. It gives away A LOT. That being said, I loved the article and am looking forward to these upcoming storylines.

I'd like to hear it TVFan. You could post with SPOILER SPACE and you could make the text invisible like this:

I think Naj's suggestion would be an ok way to post the spoilers but it's up to TVFan since she let us know about the article first.

Couldn't agree more Ryebeach! I really didn't want to know, but TV Guide totally put it out there like it was common knowledge. Anyway, here are the spoilers for those who would like to know:

Highlight if you want to read the spoilers: ***************************************************** From the Feb 20-26 issue of TV GUIDE:
Rush does eventually find new romance with another Philadelphia detective, but things are going to get a lot worse for her before they get better. She's about to have a major falling out with Christina (Nikki Aycox), her "train wreck" of a sister. The two have long had a rocky relationship, which viewers will learn is the result of an affair Christina had with Rush's (now ex-) fiance years ago. But tempers boil over when Rush finds out that Christina has muddied the waters of her work life, too, by sleeping with Valens.
"It ain't pretty," Pino warns about his character's upcoming confrontation with Rush over his "ill-advised"liaison. It will create an emotional gulf between the two detectives that won't go away quickly. "She doesn't trust me, and frankly, I'm just working with her."
Valens, whom Pino plays with a quiet, streetwise intensity, will also have his own cold case to deal with. He's not convinced that his dead fiancee, Elisa, who suffered from mental illness, killed herself. It consumes him and causes some problems on the job. "That combination of not being able to talk about stuff, having a lot of pride, feeling a lot of guilt - that's a powder keg," Pino says. ******************************************************

Hey! We weren't that far off track! Thanx TV fan! And thanks Naj for your suggestion ("hidden" message). That way we don't hurt those who don't want to be spoiled. I spoiled myself and now there's no going back, but I like what they're delving into! Thanx a lot you guys ;D ;D ;D

Thanks TVFan! Just remember if you are going to continue to talk about it on this thread than you need to put spoiler space. Please do not discuss this on other threads... I don't know what to say here if this is all in print.... We can try to keep the lid on the pot I guess. ;D
Talking about being spoiled. I am a survivor fan and they have began giving out spoilers about three seasons ago right in the promos. So I know all about the spoiling.
Well here's what I have to say about the TV Guide giving away what they did....
highlight if you want to read: *******************************************
I've seen many a mention here in the first season about liking the personal side of the characters so it looks like the writers want to bring that in. It seems some of our speculation here did hit the nail on the head about what is going on between Christina and Lilly about her stealing Lilly's man. I wonder why the writers are giving the info out though.

Thanks so much TVFan. I feel kind of relieved now that I finally know what the big secret is. Even though I'm not surprised by it. I'm sad to know that things will get bad between Lil and Scotty. I like their friendship. I hope it doesn't take too long for them to work things out.

No surprises on the big secret that's between Christina and Lilly. I was surprised to learn about Lilly's future romantic prospects, though. That one caught me off guard, even though InsideR alluded to it in her posts. I missed that somehow. Oh well, now I know. Bad TV Guide.

I found this article through my work's database. It ties in with the TV Guide article. It's a long article that talks about upcoming things on different shows. I'm just going to post the CC reference.

THE VIDEOLAND VIEW: "Cold Case" star Kathryn Morris reports there's trouble a-brewin' for her Detective Rush and cronies on the CBS homicide show. "We're shooting episode 19 right now, and there's some big drama ahead," says Morris. "Things that have been brewing are ready to overflow into the homicide division when the personal lives get messy and start to make work not so nice and clean."
Morris says she likes it down and dirty. "That was one of the draws for me to the role and to the show because if she's just a tough lady cop, who cares? These cops don't have a life because they're so devoted to their work, and if you don't address that on some level in a show about homicide detectives that take on the toughest work like this cold-case work, then I don't really think it's the complete story." In fact, she adds, "When I talk to the real cold-case detectives that we work with, what I find most fascinating about them is who they are, their dedication and how they sacrifice time from their families to work with complete strangers."
Fans of the show know that Rush's partner, Detective Valens (Daniel Pino), has recently started dating her sister, with whom she has major issues. "Valens doesn't know the whole story between me and my sister, and my character's not cool with him knowing things about her personal life because it makes her too vulnerable." She adds, "Valens has been a bad, bad boy, and I think he's going to pay. I'll probably take the high road, but I may not. Nobody's perfect."

Yep. *Sighs with contentment*. I really like Kathryn Morris's take on her character and the show itself. It's exactly the way I would've liked to see it done. Hope audiences think so too--so the ratings don't drop. I don't feel I could live without CC at this point. And the story's gonna get so interesting!
Thanx for the article, TV.
