"The Woods" Leaks

I was just wondering what you guys thought about the information that is leaking out about the season finale. As you know, I don't read spoilers, but I've found that information about "The Woods" is creeping into the other discussion forums. For instance, I now know that George will be making a re-appearance, and I've gotten the impression (and it could be wrong) that Lilly is put in some sort of danger. Whether or not this is speculation is hard to say. Anyway, I was kind of bummed to find the info as I am trying to stay spoiler free, and I wondered if others felt the same way. Do you guys think we need to regulate this better? One of the most obvious cases is in the "Few Bits of Interest" thread. I had to stop reading it because too much info was coming out about the finale.

I just didn't want members to be caught off guard by the lack of spoiler tags and read something they didn't want to know ahead of time. What do you guys think?

I agree TVFan. Any mention of spoilers should be kept in the Spoiler Section. I love spoilers and read them often so I'm a bit immune to reading them in other parts of the forum. Sometimes I don't even realize that they are there. I think we need to edit and/or move posts detailing spoilers to the Spoiler section as it really isn't fair to those who wish to remian spoiler-free. About the "A few bits of Interest" thread: Perhaps we could have a warning attached to it indicating spoilers are within or better yet, have two of those threads going. One in news for regular questions about production, filming, etc and one in the spoiler section containg any bits of spoilerish news InsideR wishes to release.

I feel the same way. I've already read too much even in the spoiler area and then InsideR mentions.

I didn't want to know there was a "young" George in the finale.

Let's all try to revisit those threads we saw and put MAJOR SPOILER for SEASON FINALE Disclaimers on them. Anything you think needs moved to SPOILERS, do so but place a note in the thread you are doing it.

I'll try to look right now but I know I probably don't know where they all are. If you don't think what I've done is correct, then just do your thing and feel free to edit my stuff and change it around.

I just checked over some of the threads, and it looks like you guys are doing a great job. I have a question about a2z's post in the "Who's Your Daddy?" thread. It's on page two and it references this Sunday's ep "Kensington." I was afraid to read it b/c the question she was referencing seemed to lead itself into a spoiler for the upcoming ep. Would one of you who knows about the connection between the two eps mind reading a2z's post to make sure it's okay? Thanks!

I did look over the "Who's Your Daddy" thread today and I didn't think there was enough there to censor it as those of us talking know now that Kensington is part of where Lilly lived. Not everyone would know that. I surely didn't remember it from the early eps until it was pointed out to me in converation on the board at one time.

Yup, if you see something, go ahead and censor it as the "Episode" forum is ONLY to be posts about "already aired" eps.


There were two edits I made on the Mind Hunters thread too. And then I accidently deleted my post about having a LIVE CHAT on the season two finale Sunday Night. Oh well. I'll put that up in a separate thread.

Well, it happens to us all with the different forums here. I happened to venture over to Source # 1 yesterday. A place that I was probably the first signed on member. It was my intention to be involved over there and here but I mod two other boards before this one came along...but I digress...I found that they are spoiling over there in their regular conversations too, majorly. And I know that some of those posters do come here. So anyhow, I think we have it back on track but feel free when you see something to step in because you can do so as MODS of this board and if anything futher needs to be done then we'll discuss it.


But the reason why it's important to keep it out of our "currently aired" episode forum is because many people just don't want to know. I know I don't but it's kinda hard when you're involved in running a board. And so that's why there is a spoiler board. Maybe on the spoiler board we need to do something more so that if I'm over there or TVFan or anyone looking just for a showing date or a small summary, we don't have to read the actual spoilers. In other words posts with SPOILER info should begin:
