Good day everyone, Hey, this is the Byrdman coming at you today. I hope that everyone is doing well, and that the weekend is off to a rocking good start.  I just wanted to get back about an SVU episode I saw last night from this week on NBC (it was stored on my TIVO). It was called "Night." It was about a serial rapist who made a habit of raping illegal immigrant women. The way the show ended left the story up in the air. Now, I DO NOT know the way this story plays out, I'm just curious if anyone knew whether there was a conclusion to this story in this season or not. Again, just curious as to the way the story resolves, and please, no details. Thanks.  Yes, it was an especially bad ep though. My favorite girl on there, ADA Casey Novak (played by Diane Neal) was assaulted by a guy. Plus, unfortunately, we got to see most of it too.  That poor girl was beaten to a pulp (a concussion and 2 broken ribs, I think Olivia said) by this lowlife. And her face in the hospital afterwards looked so bad. I know they got the guy who did it, and I hope they nail him to the wall for it (I loved Elliot's statement to him: "It takes a real man to beat a woman halfways to death."). Plus, this guy said he should have killed her. In any case, I hope it is resolved in this season, if nothing else for Casey and the whole team. The conclusion of "Night" was played out in "Day", a Trial by Jury episode. Your TIVO might have caught it, depending on what you have it set to tape. It re-aired last night. As for Novak getting assaulted... if you thought that was a little gruesome, imagine if they had shown all they had originally taped  Apparently, the original was much worse, but the network decided to tone it down. Kudos to Diane Neal, imagine all the stuff she had to go through during taping! |

Dear Trublu, Hey, girl! Thanks so much for putting my post in the right place, I'm sorry if it created any confusion for you today. Also, yes, I got that L & O: trial By Jury ep last night! Oh, I'm fired up, girl! Today is going to be busy for me, but I am hopeful that I can watch it tonight. Thanks again for the word, girl! Wow, that assault was worse? Well, I can see why they toned it down. Goodness, the original was not very pleasant to see. Well, I'm sure I would not have liked to see it. That poor girl Casey (and indeed, poor girl Diane too!) went through a lot for this show. But she is a tough girl, I am looking forward to seeing the end of this soon! Hey, I just wanted to say that I watched another episode of SVU the other night, and the SVU girls are beautiful. Granted, they were not in an episode that I saw together, but I remembered the girls. Stephanie March, Diane Neal and Mariska Hargitay. Wow, three beautiful girls, that's for sure! I saw "Parts" the other night. Mariska was not even in it, but Diane was. She is the girl who drew me in and made me a fan of that show as well. Thanks for your attention, just wanted to express my thoughts. The episode 'Night' aired here in the UK last night. They said before the show started that Mariska got her Emmy nomination for this episode. I thought she was good in it but not as good as in some other episodes I've seen. I thought Diane Neal did an ace job in this ep though.
