I voted it's a great idea. Well, in Cold Case, they need a certain number of guest stars every week. I only have a problem with it if guest stars take too much time away from the regular cast, but I don't remember it ever happening on CC.

I don't think it is a good idea. Sometimes - yes, but I cannot focus on the story when I see someone and think "yey, I've seen him/her on..." I prefer seeing those people the first time :]
