In the last scene of the season 1 finale, Lilly laid in her bad and put her hand on her stomach. What did it mean? Was it in the script? Was it just a place for Kathryn Morris to rest her hand? You tell me.

I don't think she is going to have a baby, because really, that would be lame. However, I think it is possible that she WAS pregnant at one time, and this was a gentle way to introduce this issue in her life that we are going to hopefully find out about next year.

I think that most likely it was nothing. BUT, I can see the possibility for it to have been something. I guess I really can't decide. I see it going either way. Either it's never mentioned again, or there's some sort of storyline that accompanies it next season. I know, that's really vague, but it was just so subtle it's hard to tell.

I'm still sticking with "she was feeling the pangs of rejection" thus she was clutching her tummy.

actually I shouldn't even be voting since this episode hasn't aired here yet, but, since I've read a lot about this episode, I think I can give an opinion:

I just think it meant nothing. For me, her hand just happened to be on her belly at that moment, it was a random thing.
I think that because:
1- I don't think Lilly would be so careless to get pregnant so quickly, and in such a superficial relationship. For me it wouldn't be the Lilly I know. I would be seriously disappointed if she showed up pregnant next season.
2- A baby would be awful for the show. I mean, how could Lilly be totally available for her job (working for many hours, possibly getting involved in dangerous crime scenes, with shooting, etc) if she's pregnant? Her priorities would (and should) change completely. And things would only get worse after the baby is born. And I don't want to see Lilly as a careless mother who neglects her children because of her work.
3- I don't think Lilly was ever pregnant. I just feel that she doesn't run away from the consequences of her acts. I know that sometimes a woman wants to keep a child and is forced to give it up, BUT I just don't think Lilly would have an abortion or give her baby for adoption.

I'll have a more complete opinion (if that's possible ) after watching the episode (It'll be June 25th... can't wait!)

I said it didnt mean anything, because i kind of hope it means nothing. i know several people have brought up the point that if lilly was having a baby, it would totally ruin the plot. she would have to focus all her attention on the baby, and she wouldnt have the time to solve cases, which is the whole point of the show. HOWEVER, i wouldn't mind seeing this as an end to the show, *after it has like a decade run like friends did, frasier, etc. ;D* but we'll get to that when the time comes... im also hoping that it doesnt mean that she had a baby years ago or had an abortion, because it doesnt seem like the lilly we know. or course, it might help once/ if we find out about some of her earlier years.

1) She's just not careless enough to go and get pregnant with Kite. Baby=disaster for show. Maybe long-lost daughter that she gave away? More probable, but I don't think that she would be the kind of person to give away a child.
2) Abortion? Possible. Probable? No. Or at least, it's not what this whole "Tummy rubbing" thing is about. I think, (hope) that what she wanted when she was 15 was a kid when she grew up, but she got it too early? Maybe? I think she went through a kinda "catharsis" in her early life (Though not necessarily with a book or picture) and THEN she ended up like she is now.

Okay so y'all know my take on this thing but I'll put in my 2 cents anyway. I don't think she's pregnant now...that just doesn't seem characteristic of Lilly to be careless. I do think she was pregnant at some point in her life. Now, I also don't see her having an abortion. I still think that when there was mention of her being married before, I'm pretty sure there was also mention of an abusive drunk regarding the ex-husband. It's going out on a limb, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that she lost a child. But hey, I could be wrong...it could be a simple belly rub after all. Let's hope season 2 will tell all, if anything.
