Sorry guys, that last one shouldn't have Elisa's name on it. I'm not sure how it got there. What do you guys think about Scotty/Elisa? Do you want him to continue to wait for her? I'd like to see him stand by her. I voted for the same holding pattern as last season. Scotty seems pretty devoted.  |

I voted to keep in holding as well. Scotty has been with Elisa since they were 14, so i think he will stand by her. However, keeping his options open isnt bad either...

I voted for stay together, but that is just what I think is most likely. They could definitely play this is several different ways.

I voted that I want Elisa to stay in the hospital.
Of course I want them to be happy together in the end, but since this probably won't happen too soon, I want to see other things for Scotty.
If they stay on the same holding pattern of this last season, we're only going to see the same dramas happening to Scotty - dealing with Elisa's disease, looking for her when she disappears, etc., and I don't want to see that all over again.

Hey I'm new to the board and new to the show. What is the deal with Elisa? What's wrong with her, etc.? If you want you can just point me to the correct thread, and I can read up :clap: Also does anyone know when/if Cold Case will be on DVD?

Elisa is schizophrenic, and her doctors haven't yet found a combination of meds to leave her wholly functional. Scotty has known her since she was 14; I'm less sure than some here that they have a conventional romance.

I'm less sure than some here that they have a conventional romance. I remember Scotty once said to Stillman that he and Elisa used to be engaged... sounds conventional.... I think I understand what you mean, but I don't think we can say they're just "good friends". |

I think that they cancelled their engagement because she got too sick and went to the hospital. I'm not sure if he actually said that, or if it's just what I understood. Anyway I thought it was kind of weird, if he likes her and is going to take care of her anyway (they were even living together) why not get married? |

Thats what i was thinking. I was pretty sure that he said that they were enagaged, and then Stillman asked what happened. and scotty said that she got sick. But why would being sick change their engagement, since apparently his is going to continue to take care of her? (for now, anywhays)
