00:02:12,600 --> 00:02:15,100 the police handled it The family's from Narberth, Mainland. The police handled it.Ahh... That would be "Main Line". The "Main Line" is the name of a string of wealthy suburbs to the west of Philadelphia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_Main_LineThose suburbs got the name from the "Main Line Railroad" that headed from Philly to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and beyond to Harrisburg (the state capital), and then to Pittsburg. They mention the Main Line suburbs several times in the series, especially when referring to wealthy communities. The episodes "Greed" and "Debut", for instance, had connections to Main Line suburbs.

The "Main Line" is the name of a string of wealthy suburbs to the west of Philadelphia: Thanks for the correction boxman. It did sound a little like Kat said the Mainland which made little sense, but it wasn't clear so I dismissed it. Some Googling gave me hits on Mainland so I went with it. Sorry to mislead you frenchfan. Hopefully you can incorporate that.

(means get you killed) Scotty: A boy dancer, in Kensington. (the area of Philadelphia the family lived in) Probably better wait this time for someone like Boxman to confirm I'm right.

As always I need your help We don’t understand this word bo-kay or bokay, I don’t know if it is the correct word in reality. So, impossible for us to find a traduction in French. Somebody can give me a definition of this word or a synonym, or the correct word. Thanks so much in advance Ep 4X20 00:23:00,400 --> 00:23:03,800 Becca : Someone needs to take a chill pill... bo-kay? 00:23:08,000 --> 00:23:08,900 Joe : Bo-kay that!

We don’t understand this word bo-kay or bokay, I don’t know if it is the correct word in reality. So, impossible for us to find a traduction in French. Perhaps someone else can correct me if I'm off, maybe it has some meaning to those at that high school, if it exists. My thinking is that it is just the word "okay" (or "OK") with a "B" at the beginning. The letter "B" is prominent on the girl's uniforms. It was Birmingham high shool I think. It sounds a bit like bouquet but I don't think that is relevant. Kids make up words to create their own language with their friends, to separate them from adults and other groups of kids.

That's very kind. When I first read your message I assumed you were talking about Cargo, and referring to the woman Boyka. I was hoping that someone else would step in and comment, perhaps telling me I am very wrong in my assumptions

Well, I looked at the characters on Episode 4.20 and I didn't see a name of BoKay... Becca, but not BoKay.. I think it's safe to say that it possibly means "okay" or if someone was on a walkie Talkie..they would say "Roger" or if it's understood "Roger that" So, I think that's what it means, but like RichE says teenagers make their own lingo up not using the proper English.
