Volunteer here to write episode 'synopsis'

Hi folks,

We still keep getting requests for people to write an actual synopsis. So I am making a thread to ask if anyone will sign up to do one and indicate which one you are doing.

I have done two recaps. Episode 2: Gleen and Episode 7: A Time To Hate so we don't need those two. Please take a minute to look at them to see how detailed they are. They are on page 3 of this forum, currently. As you volunteer, I will put your name by the episode you are going to do the synopsis on.

I will do a recap of Hubris.

Here is a current list. Please look over and reply for one you would want to do for the forum. If we each take one we can have all of Season 1 housed right here for people to review as we wish. We can have a thread for each one and if anyone finds anything else out about that ep as far as trivia etc. then they can post an additional response with information.

If's it's agreeable to you, Falling, for those eps you have at tvtome, we can post the ep name and then just post the link to tvtome to your recap. Would that be agreeable to do for you? Or you could post them here with the link and disclaimer back to tvtome for those episodes. We are both affiliates so I don't think there would be a problem....

edit: Oh, and then I need to pick something other than Hubris to recap. Let me go look.


I'll do Love Conquers Al. I've edited the first post on this thread to show the changes so far. Now I've just got to go thru all my tapes and mark which ep is which and find that ep.

Should we have a separate forum for recaps or put them here in the Episode forum? What do you think would be best?

Well originally I thought, they have all of the details, so maybe the Spoiler board...but technically, it would also fit in the Episode forum. I'll just type spoilers next to the thread name in the Episode forum. I think that's safe.

Are you concerned for those countries that are behind on viewing the eps to think that already aired episodes here in the US and Canada should be categorized in the Episodes forum which we have described as "already aired"?

Maybe we should have a separate forum for just recaps. Then that way we can clearly mark it "spoiler" or "synopsis" of 'already aired episodes'.

You can post them in here like I did for Time To Hate.

I think I titled the thread: Episode 7: A Time To Hate Recap. And then if CC wants a separate forum, we'll just move them. We could put a disclaimer in the beginning content at the top of each episode recap that this is a detailed synopsis. Is this getting confusing yet? How about we'll just let each person tailor make their recaps to their personality for some variety....

Hi everyone! I'm so glad you've all pitched in on this. This is great. Here's what I'm thinking in terms of where to put these. There are two options:

1.) The first option is that we put the recaps in the episode section, although, they'll just be all over the place and not in any order.

2.) This option, which I'm leaning towards, is that I create a seperate Forum for Episode Recaps, and I have you each send me your recap and I'll put them in the thread (of course, giving you all the credit) and that way, the recaps will be in the order in which they appeared.

I think I'm gonna go with option 2, so if you guys have any suggestions, let me know.

Ok, so as you see on the board, I've gone with option 2. As of now, the only people who are allowed to access the Episode Recap Forum is Me and Naj. What I need for you all to do, is PM me your recaps, as many as you've done, and I'll put them up and hopefully, that Forum will be up tomorrow.

They'll have to email them because private messaging is limited to wording. The other thing I found, CC, is that even ProBoards only allows so many characters per post. And one of the reviews I did already here in this forum may have two pages. So when you post it for that episode you may have to indicate PartI I and Part II because you might have two pages to the recap per episode.

So the two I did here already are: Gleen and A Time To Hate. You can get them. They are probably on page 3 of this forum. The ones Falling has done and posted at TVtome (our affiliate) please check with him how he wants those displayed here.

That's all I can think of for now. I'm sure we'll have more once things get rolling. I think the separte forum will be good since episodes don't air everywhere on the same time frame.
