Oh.My.God. Those people couldn't find their backsides in the dark with both hands; and Eddie ain't exactly the slimmest model on the books. Really. That totally blows. I'm gonna try and get into tv programming when I finish my degree. Seriously, someone's got to get on top of this. Not only is it shoddy program, it send the wrong messages to the fans; hey, guys, we don't care about you, only ratings and the man. Pfft. Oh, PS *raises hand*.

ok so i did a little detective work and called up the spunky sounding programming guy at channel nine (yes there is a point coming!)
so Joseph will be aired next year as we predicted.
I also asked about Bubley while I was on the line and apparently its likely it WONT be aired.The reason it was skipped in the first place was because of its darker content plus that was the first week that the timeslot switched back to 8.30 (after millionaire finished up for the year...dayumm eddie)
so there you have it

I hope you b*tched at him about showing a S3 ep in a S4 timeslot. Out of interest how long did you have to wait to get answered? And do they play classical music at you?

actually getting through is really easy you just call up ask to be put through to programming and you get McSpunky.
nah i didnt harp on at him, which was good cause I ended up chatting for like 15-20 minutes and he was telling me about some of the wackos that call him.so thankfully I came off as rather sane. (I hope)
he also said it was probly too late to show bubley at which I told him it was pretty much as stand alone ep, but he said it still probly wont be shown and that it was rather a waste since they paid out all that money for it.
yeah I dont get the darker part, i think eps like the woods and lovers lane are a bit more disturbing personally but anyways.
I guess we'll all just have to infiltrate the tv networks and get some real programming going on!

Hee. McSpunky. That's awesome. And I can't believe you said cranky wacko, Tillace. That made me giggle. Meanwhile, that's total crap that they aren't showing bubley. Actually I have a question about the pronunciation for fellow Australians to see if it's the accent, or just me. I was saying Boob-lay (lol, I know, the phonetic spelling is wackjob) until I actually got around to seeing the ep and realised it was pronounced bubbley. So did anyone else get that? Might just be me... Anyway, they could so rerun CC as fillers in those weird timeslots that are reserved for shift workers and night owls... esp. over season break. That way we might have a chance of seeing SPB. Oh, Tillace- Lol to the Burt Newton thing. Ageing but still Ch 9's newest and brightest *sigh*.

I was saying Boob-lee cause I thought bubb-lee sounded dumb (like champagne, right?!) but there you go, Bubb-lee it is. And yes! if they can show the Sopranos and Six Feet Under in the middle of the night just so shiftworkers don't have to miss out (good old channel nine) surely they can do the same for CC? Huh, Eddie? Are you reading this? Ah, Burt Newton...surely he's far more disturbing than anything CC can throw at us!  |

@ Tillace He didnt really mention why Joseph would be aired next year but he kinda tried to justify it, cause he changed the topic to some DVD box set he had and how it didnt have recaps or something...so i think he was saying it was better that the episodes (joseph and Rampage) followed on from eachother.
But no REAL reason.
yeah I was pronouncing it boob-lee too...guess we were all wrong.
haha yeah Bert is pretty disturbing.

hey guys, is your board clock out by an hour? Because mine is always an hour quicker than what my time is. and that's not even the right way for it to be daylight savings (I wish I lived back in QLD so I could just forget about daylight savings completely!!). Anyway, rhibee i totally agree with you- bert is a disturbing guy. I mean, that hair. eesh. And McSpunky was probably trying to keep you from flying off the handle lmao. He knows channel 9 sucks occasionally. They need a decent programmer in. My bet is, someone's screwed up the spreadsheets that holds the advance screening notes etc and no one's really realised or bothered to do anything about it. Pfft.
tillace i thought saying it bubb-ley sounded gay as well. right, glad it wasn't just me that got it wrong lol. I still say it the way I like in my head.

I got my money on late february. early march. and im betting theres a bunch of repeats in there.
was funny when McSpunky said cant really play bubbley out of order, I was like Cold Case is always played out of order.
he said weve been playing them all in order this year.
personally i dont think it counts if you dont actually air ALL the episodes.
maybe next year is the year they get it right! (though seriously I doubt it).
I think dear Eddie may be up for several awards this year lol
