Has anyone heard when season 3 begin filming?

Hey, this is the Byrdman just coming to you tonight. I hope that everyone is having a great Sunday, and that another excellent week lies ahead for all as well!

I was just thinking about a topic yesterday, and I was curious if anyone knew anything about it. I had read somewhere (in an interview with KM, I think) that filming for the third season begins in July. Does anyone know if they have started yet? Just curious.

It does not really matter, I'm just thinking and wondering. Any insights would be most welcome. Thanks, and take care tonight, everyone! Have a great week too!

Hey, girl! Thanks so much for getting back so quickly. I hope that you had a good weekend, and that this week is starting off great for you too.

Yes, I have looked through the 3.1 Colors thread (against my better judgment , but I was relieved there were no specific details about the show yet), and I was unable to find a specific date as you mentioned Ryebeach had posted. In fact, I looked through the entire thread, and I could not find a specific date anywhere. I hope I am not missing something.

If you could give me a more direct place to glance through, maybe that would help. Like I said, Ryebeach did not mention a specific date that I saw. His first post was a link to the Futon Critic, which gave a date on the season premiere, but I saw nothing about a filiming date anywhere. But I'll stop going on, I just cannot find it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey, girl! Thanks for your nice comments, they are much appreciated (I think I said that in another thread tonight as well ).

Thanks for saying I am not an ignoramus, maybe I was being too literal there. I just wanted to make sure I had done a thorough enough read through and that my skills of observation had not failed me. Also, thanks for saying that Ryebeach and I are authorities with knowledge of Cold Case. I do not believe I am (but thanks anyway! ), but I think Ryebeach knows much more than I do about CC overall.

Also, it is good that we have been straightened out about InsideR as well. I figured she was on break with the show, but I was curious because we had not heard from her in so long. Thanks for that bit about Sunday as well, Naj! She will be back, I know it!

I found this today byrdman, and it seems like a partial answer at least. From the Daily Bulletin:

ONTARIO - Picture it: Philadelphia, 1945.
That's the look Andrea Morrissy, assistant location manager on the television show "Cold Case," is hoping to create at the historic Jay Littleton Ballpark in John Galvin Park, at Fourth Street and Grove Avenue.

Warner Brothers paid $8,000 to rent the field for filming a flashback that will appear in an episode of the popular crime procedural series. Filming started Tuesday and will continue through this morning. The episode should air some time in October, around the time of the World Series, Morrissy said.

"We chose it because it was the only period-looking field in the area," she said, noting that she had been searching for a baseball field that looked like one built in Philadelphia in 1909.

Morrissy said that not many folks have been hanging around the location, which is good, because none of the main cast of the show is in this particular episode.

I presume they meant that none of the cast is in this particular scene, which makes sense since it's a flashback. I would imagine that the rest of the cast and crew must be heading back to work next week if they are not already. It sounds like there's going to be some sort of baseball case from 1945. Interesting.

What's interesting is that the one who's name we shall not say Joy Brown's website mentions her joing the cast in the "news section" dated July 25th and states that she begins filming the next day! Now I'm wondering, is she in the very first episode, and so would that mean that episode 3.1 began filming last week?

According to TVGuide, she is indeed in the very first episode.
