It's a show I've wanted to watch for a while, but never got around to, because I was always busy when it was on or there was something else on I'd rather watch. Anyway, we started getting season four downloaded (on the TV package we have we get a selection of shows downloaded each day) and my mum watched, then after the episode Saving Sammy she told me I should watch it, mostly because there was some really good music in it. So I did, and I only really watched for the music and a paid little attention to the show, but I remember I thought the case was good. Then I watched whenever it was playing, and eventually got into it.

i like the ones situated in the 1980s, that's when i grew up so i recognize the music well. kinda hard to believe there's so many great 80s songs played on the series that i never heard, since only the 'number one's' are played on radios, there's a great many from artists that have become known as 'one hit wonders' yet at least 4 good hits are from these artists, and are played as great ending montages and also in flashback scenes in the background.
Example, Cyndi Lauper only had one radio song played in the time, 'Girls just wanna have fun', however, CC played 'True Colors' as an ending montage on one episode, and that was the first i heard of that song. i found the name through a episode listing on wikipedia.
The first one i saw made me think it was a special episode, i never saw the format used by CC in any other crime procedural, so i wondered if was some sort of special, and then i was told by a avid Cold Case lover that that's how every episode does it. i didn't know whether to be disappointed or not, since i figured the ghost or victim's appearance was a special moment that seemed fitting for a special, say, holiday episode.

I don't get to watch much tv. One night, at 3am, I saw a "look again" rerun on TNT. I fell in love with Rush's determination, smarts and vulnerability. "I've been hooked ever since

Is it really legal to buy the box set there? I thought they wouldn't be released at all.

As long as there is no official release, keep away from that stuff. It's a s simple as that.
Now let's get back on topic here.

I have heard about Cold Case before, but never got a chance to watch it. Well I was having some insomnia problems and TNT was showing the very first Cold Case Look Again, so I thought might as well. Since that time I have been hooked on the show, & thanks to TNT & Fox I am up almost through Season 5.
Cold Case by far is the best show on TV. It is not like CSI or some of those other cop shows that relies on the lab to do their work for them, it is about pounding the pavement to get the truth.

A friend of my mother’s couldn’t get certain TV channels for a while. Anyway, I offered to DVD record the shows she wanted to watch and send them to her. This was back when season four was just about to start airing in the UK and one of the shows she wanted was Cold Case. As I had to keep the show on anyway, I decided to watch it. Loved it and kept watching, then I had to find the old ones on the internet.
Also found Stargate like this.
