I'm a Vera fan. You just never know what quip is going to come out of his mouth next!

I wondered what you all thought about the group scene in "Best Friends" when they get Billie's books of poetry and Vera begins to read aloud around the table with the other detectives.

I have a feeling they let {Ratchford} Vera decide how to do it and then sprung it on the cast. Did you see Scotty's response and then Lilly?


It is definitely a rewind scene! What do you think?

I did notice that but it hadn't occurred to me that the rest of the cast didn't know how he was going to do it but that makes sense.

Haha... I just watched that scene again. Probably the only time I can remember Lilly laughing all season is that little off-camera chuckle after Vera reads the "wet sweaty miles" line. I love the way her delivers that line. It's a cute scene of the detectives "bonding" that fits well within that episode.

I just love it. Yea, he got Lilly and it looks like Scotty was stunned! I'd like to see the outtakes from that one unless that was the only shoot! ;D
