She made her debut the season finale of Lover's Lane as a detective from the 16th district. Scotty referred to her as 'a pain in the butt' to Lilly.
We don't see her again until Blank Generation which is oddly rerunning again July 10. It just ran. Anna Mayes was the one that delivered the news to Stillman of Elissya's suicide.
So do you think she will be back more often in season 3? Is there a story to tell about her and Scotty? Will she be involved in another case?

She just seem the type who would get on one's nerves. Scotty wasn't thrilled to see her back in "Lover's Lane." I would be interested though as to why that is. I also wouldn't mind the character reappearing again in season 3 so long as a relationship between she and Scotty does not develop. |

I like the actress Robin Weigert alot, but her presence seems weird for the show. She seems kinda hard and gruff; I'd like to see her in season 3 only if she gets in Vera's face (and kicks his butt  ) |

I don't care much about her, and I don't feel her character has been well built. From Lover's Lane we were supposed to think she was annoying and hard to live with, but when she showed up in Blank Generation she was so nice (ok, aynone should be nicer in that situation but it didn't seem like the same person). I'm not sure if I want her to show up more regularly.

I'm not a fan of the character's, so I wouldn't miss her if she didn't appear in Season 3. She doesn't add anything to the show, so I don't see the need to add her more regularly. She was fine in the two eps that she was in, but I wouldn't want to see her more.

That's about how I thought of it. I thought they were setting us up to make her a regular for S3 and I felt there were too many on the plate with Lilly and her four co-workers.

Anna Mayes, Anna Mayes, so many things to say about Anna Mayes...
Well, I could write a darn thesis on this character, but I'll spare you guys.
She bugs me. I don't like her. I really don't. She just seems to throw the "chemistry" of the team off a little bit.
I really hated her in Lovers Lane, I was getting nervous that she was going to become a regular. Luckily, that has yet to happen.
So, I would rather never see Anna Mayes again. I don't think she brought much to the episodes she was in. And I know she delivered the 'big news' to the team about Elissa, but another character could have done it. Why her??
I'm sorry, I just really don't like her. At all.
